Ok. It would be nice if Mitsu integrated it properly to the inside of the glove box or somewhere on the dash. It would look much neater and tidier.

Uhmm... if you use the iPod connector, you could control the iPod directly from the HU, thus eliminating the need for you to reach for the iPod kaya tago na lang yung iPod sa glove.

I tried it using my 1GB SD card in a card reader & the radio recognizes my MP3, awesome.
If mine worked, lalo na sa inyo.

wowowee! ganyan na technology ngaun! no more custom wires, saksak na lang? galing ng mitsu ah ... dapat all car manufacturers should follow this example.

Is the device above the aircon controls the radio? If it is, what then is that device below the aircon controls, near the shifter knob?

The device above the climate controls is the multimeter similar to the GEN III Pajero. It has a compass, barometer, altimeter, fuel economy gauge, range gauge, digital clock, etc.

I wish the rear seats lifted up (ala Honda ULT) like it does in the Hilux so you can stow your gear on the floor instead of putting them on the seat (e.g. dirty toolbox).

nothing special even a 4000 peso proline HU can do this....

of course the name brands will want to milk you off of this piece of low-tech first...

The Fortuner shortage is probably orchestrated by Toyota to create some "buzz". Look now, they are doing the unforseeable a year ago by giving away so many Fortuners : July-August- 4 units, Sept- 8 units, Oct - 8 units. Notice, in quantities of 8. Over stocking kaso mga yan. Now they need to dispose bec. are so tired of their conduct ( Toyota).
