Like I've said in the other thread, we're looking at the winner of the Pickup Of The Year Award at the next Philippine Car Of The Year Awards.

If it doesn't win, I'd be mightily pissed. The Ranger might upset it, though, official launch is this November, and I look forward to seeing if it can match this truck.

Mitsubishi has taken away from the Ford Ranger the crown of "most comfortable pick-up ride" by a huge margin with this car.

It's one of a number of cars I've seen in the past year that seems to herald the end of the sedan... honestly... why buy a compact or executive at the same price, when the Strada offers carlike space, carlike driving, carlike acceleration and four wheel drive, off-roadability and better fuel consumption, to boot?

This truck deserves to steal sales from the non-pick-up buyer segment. Seriously.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

i forgot to mention that the Strada is equipped with an i-Pod jack and a USB port. Very useful for an audiophile like me.

Is this the loose black usb-like wire dangling when the glove box is opened?

Ok. It would be nice if Mitsu integrated it properly to the inside of the glove box or somewhere on the dash. It would look much neater and tidier.

Looks like Mitsubishi is having a good start in terms of sales of their all new Strada. I've seen about 10 units of the new Strada around the Metro today. All of them were the top of the line GLS model, most of them were white. In less than a month after the launch, parang ang dami nang bumili unlike when the D-Max and the new Hilux came out, may lag before units became visible in the streets. Sana masustain ng Mitsu yung sales even if the new Ranger comes out next month.

May ilaw ba yung dalawang bilog na butas sa mga dulo nung rear bumper? Rear white fog lights? Ok na pansilaw yun sa mga tailgaters na nakahigh beam, hehe.

Suggestion po sa mods, can we have the thread title changed to "All-new Mitsubishi Strada/L-200" na lang?

I agree, as this is the next Pick-up of the Year. Unless Toyota upgraded their Hi-lux (w/ ABS, Passenger airbag, multi-meter, & low price) and same goes w/ Isuzu w/ their D-Max (changing their engine to CRDi). The Strada is the winner. Same goes w/ Nissan for their Frontier & Ford w/ their Ranger.

Even if both Toyota and Isuzu upgrade their engines and safety features...they will still be haunted by the superb ride of the Strada..hehe.
