IMHO may be because we're leaving in a tropical country thats why we don't have that on our monty specs.

hi .. we all want our engine to be in good state thats why for me using synthetic is no big deal,as long as it will prolonge its life and give a good performance. am planning to use motul on my 15k pms and that will be very soon.

    hi guys ,

what is depressing for me is the rust formation as posted in the earlier posts. i also noticed rust formation in the under side of the montero particularly in the nuts and bolts malapit sa wheels. doon sa parang welded joints sa ladder frame . yun skid plate ata tawag don and also doon sa parang fork na bakal holding the tambutso. it is depressing because this is not my first brand new car yun iba wala ganitong prob but my first mitsu don sa iba wala naman rust formation this early on or up to now after 3-5 years use... anybody experience this.? pls take a look sa ilalim ng montero s front and back. i believe hindi lang ako meron nito.. seriously considering pa rust proof ulit sa zeibart but sayang naman ang added cost considering na dapat effective ang ginawang factory rust proof. . thanks!!!

for me, sunroof is more beneficial to those countries with fresher air and cold climate as the sun rays is really a big help. not to mention those bukas-kotse/burglars here

i also considered that before pero super expensive. not worth it. so I settled with a simple plate ending 727 (July 27), added P1500.

best option is a personalized plate, coding exempt pa. (P4500 for 2 years).

is that for 24 volts? for the heater? do we actually need it?
you need heater in tagaytay, baguio, december, sta fe...

    trim is really ugly.

i like 7 seven seater too. but i need that cover for the seventh and sixth seater... it fits with us, our Monty has the ready fittings...

sunroof control daw ito... i do not understand...

OT but a heads up to fellow Monty brothers, AFAIK, if you go to Makati, commemorative plates won't save you from coding. I think to a point that just having a commemorative plate, huli ka. If going to Makati, unlike anywhere else na pwede "sandwich" (harap comm plate, ipit sa likod lic plate), sa Makati, dapat ata kita both plates, sa taas yung comm plate, sa baba yung lic plate. Sometimes they are strict, sometimes they are not. Suwertihan lang. May sariling mundo kasi ang Makati.

Same question too. Legally, all commemorative plates should be displayed together with the licensed plate. No commemorative plates is exempted from "coding" unless you have the Unified Vehicular Volume Reduction Program (UVVRP) certificate which i think is not also recognized in Makati

So in the end it still a lotto game

sir base on my experience to lessen the the stiffness of ride. try filling your tires with nitrogen air. it cost around 100 pesos per tire at tire boy in araneta qc and they offer unlimited refill of nitrogen air. thats what i did to my car and it certainly improve the ride of the car. and nitrogen air are recommended especially for those changing they're mags n tires to bigger ones.

What's the benefit of filling nitrogen air? And what do you mean by unlimited refill? Once I filled my wheels with nitrogen air, is it fine to fill it with normal air just in case there's a need?

    thanks

i am using a 20'' rims filled with regular compressed air at the start. changed them out to nitrogen just for the heck of it. the only difference i noticed is the money i lost paying the nitrogen. ride is the same coz my tire pressure is the same ~32 psi. nitrogen has nothing to do to improve the ride IMO.

re bosch banana type blades, did you get the ones sold by piece or the dual pack sold as a set? when i checked, if by piece it costs about 1t each but if as a set its only around 1600 a set. have seen those that come as a set but couldnt find the right size for our monty. ours is 22 and 18 inches.
