careful careful peeeps with this one its pricey to replace fuel pump

Should this be the case, then probably all monteros will be on the verge of having their fuel pump damaged. As I saw on many montero inside different casas just to be released to the customer, the fuel guage is usually at 1/4 to almost nil. I had the luxury of taking a look at this because i happen to have some friends in their service dept and i take a look at the instrument panel because i had mine with almost empty fuel and with 60+ km on the odometer. No cause for alarm i believe.

i think any mitsu dealer regardless if it's citi , diamond, etc will be fine. we have members here who got their unit from provincial dealers but they have their PMS done in the metro, where they live

As for gas stations, go for the ones that don't get flooded

Forcing customers to use synthetic oil? more profits siguro with the synthetic oil. hehe

I have a friend who worked as an SA for Ford, he told me that they earn 5pesos for every liter of synthetic oil used in their customer's vehicle. So, if you will notice, some SA's really insist and very persuasive when it comes to this. He was also surprised when i told him that the casa insisted on using synthetic as the plant requires them, etc. etc. He said it's totally marketing bull****.

Sir, no need for conversion kit anymore. Plug and play na lang ang mga HID kits nowadays.

If I remember it correctly, I think the short answer is YES, and what I read in the manual are instructions on how to attach one. I'll have another look at the manual tonight sir, and come back to you with an answer.

i would most likely .... nevermind (some of you know what i'd do) ... as for the SA with the info, 1st time i've ever heard this. LOL!

I hope you are right. I never wish i will have the last LOL. I could be very wrong. But for people who has less and will keep the montero SE long enough before buying another just like me, sniping on inside info for defects to be prevented is worth a million bucks.

Maybe someone will ask mitsu people if someone has replaced their fuel pump for montero (2009 model) this year.

If moisture will form (allegedly due to very little fuel left in the tank), it will be filtered by the fuel pump (hence there's this plug you unscrew to release the water collected from fuel).

Don't worry too much.

My service advisor told me to... "maintain not less than 1/4 of fuel in the tank, it's because your engine is CRDI. Im not sure, though wasn't verify this technical matter.

One proof!!! maybe 1/3 or 1/2 is an exageration to prevent damage during warranty hehehehhe
