masama kasi yung over sa upper limit mark, oil seals ang sisirain niyan

Just before my 10K PMS, my check engine warning light went permanently on. They scanned it at the service center and it turned out to be a dirty fuel filter. They changed my filter and the vehicle (2013 GLSV 4x4 MT) is now ok.

I fill up from the private gas tank of the company I work for, and we buy our diesel in bulk from Petron. Because of the premature service life of my fuel filter, I'm now trying out commercial gas stations.

There was no water contamination, but there were a lot a fine materials suspended in the diesel fuel. These clogged the filter and triggered the CEL.

Madumi talaga Petron. We used to get our diesel from them. Daming problema. We switched to Unioil last year and since then nawala clogging problems namin.

ganyan din yung akin noong petron pa gamit ko nag clog filter around 12k, kalawang yan mga bosing kase pina open ko fuel tank ko nakita namin yung fuel float body puro kalawang kya pilalitan casa under warranty.

I too ised petron before, yung mahal na diesel pa. Turbo diesel. Ayun naging turbo ang sira ng fuel system ko hehe. Mas ok pa shell I you want to stick with big players

mayroon bang drain plug ang fuel tank? hindi ko sia makita.

Walang drain plug sir sa pagkakaalam ko. Sinilip ko na yan dati. Kaya pag may problema, binababa ng casa.

Malakas pa rin petron kasi mabilis daw pag turbo diesel gamit. Pero ako stick to unioil.

i think its more on the gasoline station where you gas up.

Labor charge should be free..price still depends on the oil you used on your 1000kms PMS, which i would guess from casa..top-up, change oil filter and misc charges- 2-3k pesos would be enough...

mga boss ano gamit nyo iba brand na atf sa 2010 na 2.5 na montero nyo? mahal kasi sa alabang parts 480 per liter tapos 7 liters pala atf natin? baka meron kayo marecommend na atf laguna kasi ako. malayo naman sa amin el dorado. tnx

try mo sa mitsu prime bos. kung taga south ka (w/c i think you are based on your alabang reference) iyan ang equivalent ng el dorado sa south. along alabang-zapote road lang iyan'

btw, kahapon nung nag-tanong ako sa casa ng rough estimate kung magkano dapat ang i-budget para sa 20k pms ng monty namin, nagulat ako ng i-suggest nila magdala daw ako ng sariling langis para makamura ako kasi mga P14k daw ang baka magastos namin

7liters ba talaga atf natin?bukod sa pagpalit ng atf ano pa dapat isabay sa transmission? and ilan kms ang palit lagi ng atf? kakatapos lang warranty sa casa ng monty kaya sa labas na ako nagpapagawa. kaka 60,000kms lang monty namin. thanks
