alam ko same platform unit ang gamit ng MMID ng monty, GLX/GLS-V/GTV

kung upgrading ng special features, by means of the SD card, or kung other features like TPMS, TV, kailangan na ng addon

Salamat sir...ang habol ko lang talaga is yung Fuel Consumption sa Car Info. I think yung sa SD card, pang GPS lang ata.

By the way, may napansin lang ako... pag nagpapark ako usually after mga ilang minutes may parang lumalagitik sa ilalalim ng saksakyan. Normal ba yun? Parang feeling ko may nagfle-flex na bakal or something.

Check nyo sir sa Winterpine kung applicable sa HU/MMS nyo yung RV meter to have those features activated. Correct sir, SD card is just for GPS.

That could be the heated metal parts(specially exhaust system) na naririnig nyo during the cool down process-kung tuloy tuloy na "lagitik" an a few minutes at an interval.
Pero kung couple of clicks from the engine, that is the EGR valve after you shut/turn off the engine.

Try nyo guys kahit nasa "D" kayo, pindutin nyo paddle shift niyo automatic mag sportronic siya ma bypass niya yung drive mode ng a/t natin w/o putting it sa +/- po. Babalik din siya sa D once huminto po tayo. Check nyo hth

Agree. Ganyan din ang ginagawa ko. No need na ilipat sa manual bago gumamit ng paddle shift. Diretso downshift kagad .

I drove a GLX auto last night and this afternoon when we went to Laiya. I had some observations with regards to the handling of the montero. I found the steering on the heavy side. Also i noticed that the suspension is more "matagtag" than my current service vehicle that is an Adventure. 5 passengers with some bags at the 3rd row seats. I did not check the tire pressure so I did not have any idea if the "tagtag" came from the tires or the suspension itself. About the sportronic mode, i found it very useful particularly when overtaking. The most useful gear for me was the 2nd gear. On the contrary, there were also times that I had problems with using the sportronic mode as I found the mode "confused" on what the best gear to use when overtaking. With the 1st gear i heard a noticeable roaring sound of the engine but with the 2nd gear produced sluggish response. Maybe it was my timing, i really did not know. I loved the response of the brakes btw, i would prefer this than the response of the hyundai accent hatch which i found to be dependent on the speed of how you step on the brakes. Overall, the montero even non VGT is a beast.
