Nice! Thanks boytsiks! Btw, meron bang paddles yung sa GLX AT o dun lang ma-co-control sa stick nya. Para kasing wala akong nakitang paddles eh, pwede ba syang palagyan

Not sure kung may paddles yung GLX, GLS-V kasi yung sa kin.

IMHO, mas ok kung sa stick ka magshift. At least makikita mo muna sa dash kung anong gear ka na. Kesa pag sa paddles either mag downshift (-) or upshift (+) kagad.

hindi normal yan sir, kung may usok, may nasusunog na sa loob mahirap matuyuan ng langis o oil starvation. you can check yourself the oil level sa dipstick kung nasa tama bang level. if tama naman ang level ng oil then you have to consult your dealership or casa asap bakit may usok.

i used the paddle shift and stick interchangeably. mas maganda response sa lower rpm kung nasa manual ka kesa palaging nasa D or AT. kung nasa akyatan ka at ma-kurbada mga daan, very helpful ang paddle shift, pitik pitik ka lang and kamay mo at steady sa manibela. pareho lang naman kahit sa stick o sa paddle ka mag-shift, nakikita naman sa dash kung anong gear ka na. automatic talaga na mag-downshift once na mag-menor ka say nasa gear 3 ka at bigla ka nagbagal o huminto, automatic na yan na bababa sa gear 1 o primera. yung upshifting ang manual. kapag sanay ka na nasa D or AT at mag-manual ka, medyo pakanyod kanyod din takbo, pero kapag nakabisado mo na ang timing ng shifting at apak sa silinyador, very smooth na, para ka ng naka-manual. tanong?AT na nga bakit pa minamanual? wala lang, ok din kasi yung may kinakambiyo at pinipitik pitik na paddle shift. mas ok ang aranngkada at anong silbi kung hindi gamitin

Ako nasanay ako na downshift using paddle shifter tpos upshift naman using stick. Mas nadadaliaan ako, nasanay rin kasi ako na laging nakahawak or palaging humahawak sa kambiyo. saka observe niyo guys, mas mabilis yung respond ng gear change using stick shift. Sa paddle shift merong .5 to .7 sec delay bago pumasok yung gear sa stick shift pag tulak mo pasok agad yung shifting.

Agree ako sir. Kaya minsan nadodoble ko downshift ko kasi di kagad nagrerespond yung (-) paddle. Magugulat na lang ako naka first gear na ko hehe

sir many thanks hehe di ko pa masyado na ccheck ang oil lvl nya pero parang ok naman.yun lang talaga concern ko after leaving last week mitsubishi sfm san pablo laguna service supervisor mr jeron. (80k maintenance,chnging filters,fluids,oils,etc,,,and change of timing belts, costing 53k pesos..napansin ko na may smoke sa dipstick (engine on)sabi ni mr jeron thats normal kaya worried ako ksi sa vtec ko pag may usok sa stick blowby yun.im not sure kung normal talga sa (montero sports matic)have you tried yours?

Di po reklamo yan sir. Nakita ko po posts nyo sa lahat ng montero threads na naglaho din.

Nagbibyahe din ako ng halos 22hrs na na wewe at kain lang pahinga at normal yan na may usok na lumalabas sa dipstick pipe pag binuksan nyo habang umaandar makina.

Hinanap ko rin ang kompirmasyon sa tanong nyo sa internet at lahat nagsasabi na normal lang yan.

Unless kung parang tambutso na ng motorsiklo ang dipstick pipe/tube nyo, yun ang di normal.

i have not tried removing and checking the dipstick while the engine is on . usually sa umaga ako nag-check ng oil level with the engine off as part of my routine maintenance bago bumiyahe lalo sa malayo.

Wonder nga rin ako sir magic. Not a usual practice to check the engine oil while engine is running.

Any liquid heated up to the condesing temperature will produce an amount of vapor. (Sabi ng klasmeyt ko kasi absent ako nun!)

Sir hindi kita kung anung gear na. Once na naka D mode. Hindi na alam kung anung gear. Pero pagka nag shift using the stick + - ayun kita mo kung anung gear na.
