    sir paj4x4, kamusta naman FM niyo after using unioil? are you also using this in your LC? couldnt load up with unioil pa haha mga 2 months na rin siguro because of the buendia flyover rehab. super traffic na parati sa buendia. hehe kaya caltex muna ngayon.

    Much better pa pala na yung unioil na euro 4 na lang kesa sa mga euro 2 na may added boosters. Mas maganda yung malinis eh.

    Unioil’s Diesel is usually a peso lower than Diesel Max. So its around P4-5 cheaper than Petron Turbo Diesel.

    When I first shifted from Diesel Max to PTD there’s a noticeable decrease in smoke when I floor the rig and FC improved by about half a km/liter. When I shifted from PTD to Unioil (I’m now on my 5th full tank with Unioil) there’s much less smoke when the rig is floored, in fact smoke is hardly noticeable. FC improved by another 0.5 km/liter. What’s noticeable now is the sound of the engine – mas pino at mas tahimik! Even the exhaust fumes don’t smell as bad. Even my brother has shifted to Unioil for his Montero Sport VGT.

    Crazy_boy – my other LC’s are gas fed so only my wife’s Gen 2.5 uses Unioil’s Euro 4 diesel fuel.

    pag arangkada hindi naman mausok? ...i think its normal sa lahat ng diesel fed vehicles na kapag bigla mo inapakan accelerator pedal tapos sagad pa eh mausok talaga ang lalabas sa tambutso.

    its rare na makakita ako ng mausok na FM sa kalye unless its not properly maintained... minsan kahit ahunan/akyatan pa yan, hindi mausok ang FM in general

    oo nga, unlike sa 4D56 medyo mausok pero baka hindi properly maintained? Pero hindi naman kagaya ng Isuzu.

    oo nga yung 4d56 medyo mausok although super tibay ng engine na yan... grabe yung 4d56 may 20years na siguro yang makina na yan ginagamit pa rin ng mistu... naka crdi lang nga yung mga nakakabit sa montero/strada

    Just had a change oil last April. My FM ran 1200 Kms since then. But when I checked my oil today, I had to top-up again of 600ml oil. I have no other problems with my FM. No leaks as well. Any known causes and resolution for this?

    according to wikipedia.. 4d56 was introduced 1986... so... its 25years na... hehe

    libre change oil lahat ng naka-4d56... although 4m40 nga pala karamihan sa atin hehehe

    No leaks found eh..Malinis ang engine bay.....I dont know if may effect yung oil na nilagay ko...may promo kasi sa caltex for synthetic blend type of oil.....i tried it...though even before, nag-ta-top-up naman na talaga ako.....


    hindi po blowby...FM was bought bnew dati...and well maintained naman po...

    ar, caltex delo sport ba gamit mo? magandang oil yan dati ganyan gamit ko., kung nababawasan ka ng oil and 100% sure na no leaks, ang naiisip ko lang na pwede puntahan are the following, blowby from piston ring and breather hose. common sa diesel to kahit well maintained, part yan ng wear and tear lalo na pag high mileage. sa akin mga 1/4 liter ang kulang every 5k kms. susunugin yung oil sa combustion chamber then magiging maitim na usok, yung isa sa turbo pwedeng tumatagas sa bearing dahil oil cooled ang turbo natin. check mo intercooler mo kung madaming oil. every 5k oil change siguro mga apat na spoon full nakukuha ko.
