me din nag palit ng glow plugs yung 150 lang, now hard starting palagi sa umaga but after that 1 click nalang.....saan ba pinakamura na orig glow plugs para palitan ko na yung akin sa next oil change ko??
Also check your batteries guys. Mine conked out while parked in ortigas last sunday. Dati two cranks bago mag start. ngayon after the glowplug light goes out, halos instant start.
isa pa yang battery natin, bigla ka nalang mawawalan without any sign, nung hapon ok pa, paguwi mo as in patay na talaga. kahit konting crank wala na. pareho tayo sir pk nastuck din ako sa parking lot.
nagkaproblem na ba kayo sa aircon? nawalan kasi ng lamig aircon ko kanina. siguro evaporator na ito. anybody know how much yung orig. I'm planning to bring it to nippon denso sa quezon avenue. para orig lahat.
Yung seats sir Promdiboy, i think ganun talaga. Magkaiba kasi yung driver and pass seats (driver seat having the power ekek)
YUng aircon sir, fortunately oks pa naman yung sakin.
Nagkaproblem ako sa power locks nung saturday. I think nabasa yung solenoid during the heavy downpour tapos bigla bigla na lang bumubukas! Minsan ayaw sumunod sa master lock (driver).
baka cleaning lang kailangan ng aircon. i had mine cleaned the other day and freon recharged, okay na, ang lamig. mine is a 1997 gen 2. dapat pala aevery year ka magcleaning ng aircon, sabi ng casa.
eh, wwat u think ptroblem ng gen2 ko, pag umaga hard starting, thot the glowplugs, but had it replaced last sat orig, 4400 lahat...sabi ng frend ko wait 10secnds after the light disappears b4 clicking...wat u guys think?
hindi na ko makahintay next trip ko sa manila. ang init sobra pag bukas mo naman ng window. puro usok. pinagawa ko na dito. 8th daw yung evaporator (freight inclusive and midddle man pa) plus 1800 sa install and freon. bukas pa dating pinafreight ko from denso. hirap walang aircon.
promdiboy, naku kung evaporator yan na orig, mahal talaga yan kasi orig evaporator ng sedan nasa 12k pesos na eh. since sudden ang pagkawala ng lamig, siguradong may leak nga. pero pwedeng sa hoses, joints ang leak; even sa compressor mismo pwedeng magka-leak. hope the problem would not be too costly.
kcboy, i think that trick only works with the gen1 pajero e. d ba yung pre-heat indicator ng gen2/2.5 would only light up when the engine is cold, tpos when the indicator lamp goes out after pre-heat, the heater plugs cease to function already? kaya sa tingin ko parang no effect din yung paghintay ng 10 secs. after the pre-heat lamp goes off. i used to do this with our gen1 pajero before, but the pre-heat lamp of the gen1 pajero lights up intitally as red then turns green di ba. so even if the pre-heat lamp is already green, i still wait for a few more seconds before starting it. i think (lang ha, experts pls correct me on this) sa gen1 kasi, as long as the green lamp is still on, the plugs are still on; unlike sa gen2/2.5 na when the lamp goes off, di na gumagana yung plugs.
KC, when did you buy your existing battery? baka mahina na yan. that's what happened to me before. mahirap magstart sa umaga, then after a while kahit dito sa office mahirap na. then bigla na lang, ayaw na.

Share ko lang info. kung pumapasok amoy sa labas sa loob. pag more than 5 years nayung car. baka same problem saakin. yung foam sa vent doors ng pangkuha sa outside air sira na. palitan lang ng new foam. para magawa tatanggalin kailangan yung blower ng aircon. then makikita na agad yung vent doors. pag hawakan mo lang yung foam natatanggal na.
tnx promdiboy. i've always been wondering kung bakit nakukuha yung amoy sa labas. may foam pala dun sa vent intake. may ganyang symptoms din yung pajero namin. anong foam yang gnamit mo? orig ba yan or fabricated lang? mukhang heavy job yan ah, kelangan pa kasi alisin yung blower assembly. baka pag pina-service ko na lang yung a/c namin dun ko papalitan. ok pa kasi yung lamig e, mukhang di makukuha sa dukot lang yung foam para palitan.
bili lang foam 10 pesos,. then cut with foam with sharp knife. remove old foam, then rugby lang uli sa vent doors. maliit lang yan mga 6 inches siguro very easy to fabricate. mangangamoy rugby lang sa loob for a few hours, the next day wala na. naisip ko sana kung 3m nalang ginamit ko. yung foam sa likod ng scotch brite. baka masmatibay yun.
pwede DIY. 1 piece lang kasi yung blower assembly.

pucha, sayang, i just had my aircon cleaned, di naman ata nila pinalitan itong foam na ito. ipa-backjob ko kaya? i'll just pretend that i thought they wod do it as part of yearly cleaning? hehehehehe
Anyone nagkaproblem with overheating? Nag start maging erratic ang idling then mawala ang lamig ng aircon then the temp starts to go up. If I turn off the engine for a few minutes then OK na kahit matraffic pa. My overheating happens even walang traffic and diretso ang andar ko. Nagpacheck ako last week and we found out very low oil that I have to add 4 liters of oil. Wala naman tulo or usok. Im not sure kung niloko ako ng Citimotors Pasong tamo because regular check up naman ng Casa. Two days ago bumalik ang problem but oil level is ok. My aux fans are only 1 year old from Casa din. Im observing my radiator because I added water kanina but I only had the water changed last week. Its not that low that it can cause the overheating.
Anyway anyone planning to change their springs, I had mine changed to OME and Im very satisfied with the ride and loading.
