    Hi Promdiboy,

I just used my trusty dremel to do the dirty work. DIY lang po. Kung di po kayo masyado sanay, I suggest having a banawe boy install it.

In any case, the hardest part of it all is cutting the holes in the bumper extension. You may use my 'bangga' pic as reference to where the hole should be cut. Di ko lang sure saan mo lalagay yung additional 2 sensors Here's what i can remember about my install.

    1) I mounted the central unit beneath my cd changer. under the carpet. So if youre looking at the Paj from behind, it should be at the right side.

    2) the wires from the sensors, i think i had to remove the right taillight and pass the wires through there. Pinagapang ko lang underneath the weather seal (rubber grommet).

    3) connected the sensor wires to the central unit.

    4) gapang the wires from the central unit to the indicator. The indicator was mounted in the blank space with a circular cap on the bottom plastic shield covering the underside of the steering column (labo no?)

Basta, look for a circular plastic 'cap' remove it and mount the indicator there. Im not sure what a 4 sensor indicator looks like though. Baka hindi kasya. If that's the case, you simply have to find another spot for this.

I recall, i had to file down my indicator to make it fit. But the location I selected was perfect (for me at least). It's clearly viewable at most any position.

I'll get some pics over the weekend to help you out.

    RC tayo! hehehe

If you are using a unit with the LED warning system, you can mount the LED indicators in the vicinity of the rear cargo area lamp. That way, it can be visible whether you are looking directly out back or using the rearview mirror when backing up.

and kulang talaga 2 sensors. blind spot yung gitna.
imho cheap yung beep sound compared sa audiovox unit ng expy. parang ibon yung sound, sa expy buong buo yung beep. sana mamute yung sound ng radio natin. :car:

    Hehe. Medyo corny nga tunog.

Anyways, if you want to hide the wires, madali lang naman, but you will have to redo the whole 'gapang' process to the dash.

From the control unit, lift the carpet and pass the wires through there. Pass near the rear driver's side wheelwell. tapos, unscrew the plastic step-guards (yung grey plastic na inaapakan) and pass the wire underneath. repeat the same for the driver's door.

Eto tricky part, kelangan alisin mo yung footrest. deskarte lang. basically you have your wire up to the dashboard already

OT: May Banawe Boys pala sa subic hehehehe

Promdiboy, PK might be victim number 2. But it made me think also if I could install the sensor on tire cover instead.

Just last night i have my rear center bumper hit the gate during reverse as I drove my car out of the garage. Maliit lang naman at hindi pansin pero annoying as I have this replaced three weeks ago c/o my insurance. This happen before the rain start to pour (first rain in may) I opened the gate, ride on my car and drive backward then heard the thud sound from the back, get off the car and saw the bumper kissed my gate frame. I supposed that the sudden gust of winds push the gate on the way. Usually, I have the yaya hold the gate as I drove out of garage, last night I was in a hurry to get out to assist my wife as she was involved in car accident too some 15 minutes after she left home.
Look like I really need to install this reverse sensor na.

FM, well....I guess that justifies the back-up sensors sorry to hear about that rear 'kiss' man.

BTTT, Susmaryosep, please.

good day sirs, our gen.2 paj developed this problem after a routine change of
clutch disc/pressure plate, right after starting the engine its 4x4 locked indicator lights starts blinking then at reaching about 30-40kph nawawala but
then a clanking sound ensues then mawawala if you switch from 2h to 4h and back but after awhile balik ulit so i sometimes drive allwheell kasi nakakahiya ang ingay.is it possible na me hindi naibalik na maayos yong mekaniko?one more thing mas maingay yong makina sa idle pero pagtapak sa clutch tumatahimik naman, mga koya tolong po,thnx

I wasn't kidding about the back up sensors. disaster talaga. sobra lapit sa ground kaya tunog ng tunog. and yung sa side ng spare tire cover nadedetech niya yung spare tire. I ended up disconnecting the 2 middle sensors. paparepaint ko nga uli yung step board ko eh.
pero oks parin yung sensors for its price. madali lang DIY, but sometimes hindi siya gumagana, misnsan ok naman. lalo na kapag sedan ang aatrasan mo, not a single beep. pero pag wall no problem.
sir pk does your sensor beep twice kapag dumaan ka from park to neutral? :car:

baka rin may problema ang solenoid mo. in the menatime, keep it in 4h para iwas problema. maganda naman ang 4wd ng pajero, you can use it full time.
