Just when I am getting convinced that these are montero driver error, was able to chat with a friend of mine who owned a glxv strada. In D, his strada started revving wild up and down. He had presence of mind anyway to drive the car to the side of the road. He scanned the vehicle with OBD II scanner, and according to him it read TPS error. All he did was restart the engine. He sold the vehicle already. Good riddance.
Story was just relayed to me.
The car's PCM or ECM never has intent for SUA. If the driver had no intent, it was the driver's error

I know where you are getting at, hehehe. He's happy with the rest of the cars in his garage.
By the way, he also said that it was really hard for him to step on the brakes. Kahit anong tapak daw talagang lurching forward yung sasakyan, until he was finally able to halt it at the side of the road.
Na-feature yung long lines for "free check up" sa mga Mitsu SC.
And as usual, karugtong lagi yung mga banat ng mga SUA victims.....he he.
Parang murphy's law.
