November 26th, 2015 06:37 PM #1453I'm probably in the minority. I use both LFB and RFB without any issue. More LFB when right leg is tired on long trips. No braking related accidents in 20+ years of driving. I recall knowing someone years ago with polio on his right foot having his cars' gas pedal moved to the left of the brake pedal. No issues for him either. I don't think it's for everyone though, specially new drivers.
Re: SUA I prefer not to side with anyone absent first hand experience by people I know. What should bother everyone are the people who outright dismiss or agree with these incidents. We all have our biases but this is too much. If you really love your preferred brand you should be all for eliminating its faults. If you don't like the brand it won't affect you as you won't be buying from them anyway.

(I'm on the "DRIVER'S ERROR" side)
1. shunga o baguhan yung first driver (blue shirt), kaluwag ng space di maiparada. besides, mas madaling mag-parada sa ganoong space ang paatras.
2. mas shunga (and looks like hindi na siya "baguhang" driver) yung 2nd driver (white shirt).
3. I don't believe na matagal na sa kanya yung montero, or rather matagal na siyang nagda-drive ng A/T as per his statement sa ABS-CBN's interview. ako kasi (and most na nakikita ko) pag A/T ang gamit ko, I gradually release the pressure on the brake pedal while reversing. the same what the blue shirt guy did. i never release the brakes while reversing and step on the accelerator, pwera na lang kung paakyat ang atras.
4. sa tingin ko from the video, from the "behavior" of the driving (or the vehicle), e nag PANIC yung driver (white shirt guy)...may nalalaman pa siyang "may sa-demonyo" daw yung kotse. buset. parang hindi siya siguro sanay sa A/T, nabigla yung apak niya sa accelerator sa reverse, akala niya accelerator yung natapakan pero sumibat pa rin, then panicked, thinking siguro na hindi kumakagat yung preno nya so he shifted to N or slided to D(instead na P sana!) - tapos akala niya BRAKES pa rin ang apak niya kaya sumibat ulit paabante.
5. BRAKE LIGHTS - kitang-kita sa video ni TGPH (the whole unedited/uncut video) na gumagana yung brakes. doon pa lang sa blue shirt driver gumagana na. ano yun, na-override ng ECU yung mechanical brakes? the white shirt driver didn't really applied any brakes on any motion (reversing and forwarding), kasi kung sira yung brakes or ilaw man lang, bakit umilaw pa noong bumaba na siya (2:12 sa video ni TGPH)?
6. additional lang: bakit ayaw nya ipakita yung mukha niya sa interview? baka malaman kung sino siya? "uy si ano, siya yung tangang magmaneho at hindi marunong gumamit ng A/T!" ...kung SUA talaga (or nag "wild" as he describes sa interview) ang dahilan, bakit kailangang magtago ng mukha? from that act, deep inside him itinatago niya yung katangahan niyang nagawa.
