Vios taxis are notorious for cooling problems. Third gen not as bad, but I have experienced bad heat soak in AT-equipped units.

i wonder, is the coast clear? are the current ones already bug-free?
First batch had the bad batch of flywheels that did not mesh properly with the starters.

Possible most of the other issues were also more common to early units.

AC is still weak on new units. Still rattles sometimes on start up.

    - The G4 usually develops a huge gap between the hood and front bumper over time. Just look at G4s on the road. The old hatchback doesn't have that issue. Not sure if the latest hatchbacks will have the same problem now that it has a bumper design similar to the G4.
    - For manual transmission, I usually read about snapping clutch cables.
    - The engine seems quite picky with fuel. Mine needs at least 95 RON. Otherwise, I get a noisy engine with audible knocks.

is it possible that, if we think of these "issues" vis a vis km traveled, then it might appear, that these are not really issues, but ordinary wear and tear?
    my opinion.

Ours has a big gap already.

The only thing holding the bumper up is a thin aluminum reinforcement bracket around the radiator. The bracket pati keeps snagging on driveways and stuff... so it starts to move, over time.

Gotta figure out how to fix that.

Oh, I thought it was because the bumper is too nose heavy and made with something flimsy.

I've read that some owners "fix" it by loosening the bolts of the hood and pulling it forward enough to close the gap. Not sure if that'll cause another set of problems but that's one way to do it.

The 'old' Mirage grew up to become the Lancer. The 'new' Mirage... well, I don't know what the future brings.
Meron na lancer sa panahon ng mirage. Mirage ang kalaban ng Toyota starlet. Lancer ang katapat ng ford escort & Toyota corolla.

To those who own a Mirage, have you encountered problems/common issues with the car?
Hi, I just have question regarding defective LED screen ng 2017 Mirage Hatchback ko. Bigla kasing hindi na gumana.

Ano kaya pwedeng gawing remedyo na hindi na kailangan dalhin sa kasa.

if it's still under warranty, not bringing it to the casa is... foolhardy.
    my opinion.
