Engine Air Filter Assembly looks very cheap and vibrates/makes noise
I got Engine misfire codes couple of times - replaced spark plugs * 60Tk (100k recommended)
Has weird hard starting issues random times (this is confirmed by several owners also) where you have to press the gas pedal to start.
Replaced AC Components (Condenser and Blower Motor)
Mine has a handbrake cable stretch on one side which made it's operation harder as it already presses to the handbrake assembly
    Rattling plastics every where
ABS issues even after ABS Sensor recall (random times ABS Activates unecessarily)
    ubergrab units?

    Wow.

So maybe this is one of the reasons why the mirage is not the best seller in it's class anymore, aside from competition.

And the 2017 above models are already built locally at MMPC's plant in Santa Rosa, Laguna.

I can't help but see the 80's version of the car whenever I hear the word Colt or Mirage. A few years before I learned how to drive, our family had one for a few months. It's probably the only car in its class that had an overdrive "dual-stick" manual transmission, effectively giving it a total of 8-gears.

The 'old' Mirage grew up to become the Lancer. The 'new' Mirage... well, I don't know what the future brings.

i honestly don't know. we just made sure the car was sent to the casa regularly every 6mos. hassle free ownership naman until this instance.

we'll be replacing the clutch disc along with some other items. i think starter kasama na rin. to mitsubishi's credit, sila na yung nagsabi na papalitan yung mga napansin nilang masisira na pero i really didn't expect the clutch disc to deteriorate this quick.

am i glad, i did not buy! if i did, it would have been one of the first ones. probably as problematic as yours.
i wonder, is the coast clear? are the current ones already bug-free?
