Also, how's your tail/brakelight? It might sound unrelated but I've heard of some issues that were miraculously solved after replacing a busted brakelight.

I think I still have the factory tires, and 35 psi all around naman. Although recently I had both rear tires patched kasi napako. The heftiness of the steering isn't really affecting my driving. I feel like I'm just nitpicking.

'Yun din ang iniisip ko lalo na these are factory tires pa.

They're 35 psi all around. I had a busted brake light pero got it replaced already.

Thanks everyone for the response. I tried multi-quoting but for some reason I can't figure it out for the life of me.

Tunog nga ng tunog alarm pag binuksan from the outside kasi di naglolock unless i manually lock mo sa loob.

    my two guesses,

    a connecting rod/plate dis-connected; or
    the solenoid/motor ain't working.
you will have to open that door and find out.
it's not that difficult, if one is comfortable doing that sort of activity.
once opened, it's pretty straightforward common-sense troubleshooting.
bring it to the mekanikos, if you prefer.

my 2003 lancer cedia once had the same problem.
the mekaniko replaced the actuating motor with a surplus unit.

Ok pa ang belt and pulley.

Drain and fill ATF every 40k.

    2003 altis 4AT, with over 100K km.
hirap igalaw ang stick shift. ayaw pumasok kadalasan.
overhaul kit ang binili, and it ate up over half of that 21K pesos.

Kaka iba iyon ah.

Sa lazada pulley and belt set nasa 24k. Remanufactured lang ang pulleys, mukhang ni reface.

From my observation, engine knock yan. Try using Blaze 100. Shell V-power Racing did not work on my HB only a good batch of Blaze 100 or when I use half a bottle of Octane improver.

    1. yung squealing brakes pag bagong andar. resolved it by buying replacement brake pads.
    2. weak aircon. have to replace the cabin filter every 5k km pms.
    3. twice na ko nagpalit ng wheel bearings. the last one i did only after about 6k kms. sakit sa bulsa.
    4. annoying rattling sound when you turn on the aircon. not a big issue though.
    5. the gap between the bumper and the hood. ang lapad na nya.
    6. grinding sound pag nagshift ka to reverse. remedy is shift ka muna into a forward gear, then reverse para smooth ang pasok.

Most of the above are just annoyances except for the wheel bearing problem. yan ang main gripe ko. cheapipay ang parts na yan ng mitsu. even their clutch components ambilis ng wear & tear. have to replace mine (disc, pressure plate, release bearing) after about 70k kms kasi sliding na. in my old corolla it took me about 150k++ kms bago nagslide ang clutch.

But in terms of engine performance and fuel economy, i have no complaints.
Item #4 experience ko din ito. Same with my 2016 HB. AC compressor source ng sound. After 8x years even only at 26th km, I had to replace the AC compressor. Today actually P27k damage.

Mine today while I was driving for work temp icon went on red. Cranked aircon fan and set to heater to prevent it overheating. I was aboe to get it home after work sans the auxiliary fan- radiator fan not working. upon checking the fan it seems like the actual fan itself is no longer connected to the motor. it was just dangling from it's supposed to be securing nut location. good thing it is still in place. not sure what to do if i have to replace the entire fan itself or just that particular nut to secure it back in place to run properly- if ever it isnt broken yet. yes, a lot of bad roads- probably the reason why it came loose

screw it back on and use the car again. observe very closely for signs that were not there before. anything out of the ordinary.
i certainly hope your engine block and head, and pistons, are fine.
good luck and i hope everything turns out fine.

'swhy i prefer temp needle in lieu of idiot light. i can more closely observe impending temperature overheatings.
