    Never ko na experience po umatras sa incline just been to baguio after christmas. kahit yung nag stuck sa 2nd gear di ko po nag experience. lagi lang ako naka auto never ako nag manual at sa sobra tarik basta diko pinapalagpas ng 2500rpm ko. kayang kayang naman umakyat ang lakas ng makina ng monti. 2012 GLS- V unit ko with K&N filter and using sea oil.

    good day po. ask ko lang kung ano posibleng problema pag bumibitaw sa drive yung tranny. nawawala yung indicator na D tapos parang nka neutral lang. same rin pag ñilagay sa manual mode bumibitaw pa rin paminsan minsan. salamat sa inputs ninyo

    mga sirs, i own a 2011 GLS-V with 101,000 Km reading. Just replaced the timing belt when it reached 100KKm reading, belt still in very good condition. Last Dec we travelled up to Banaue, going back home when we are at Nueva Ecija area... during slow down sa may bayan ng San Jose, nagnginig ang engine. It first occured earlier but since rekta naging pino uli takbo. No CEL appeared, but we decided to stop and have the engine rest first at the gasoline station, pero the engine still nanginginig at maingay na (possibly because lack of fuel supply) with loss of power... when we stopped at idle na engine, nag-stall na sya and cannot be started anymore... still no CEL on the dash board. Since the mechanic we are able to call just checked on the basics like check the fuel if contaminated or with water (this is ok), the filter is clean, battery is strong, fuses are all ok, di pa rin start engine. We decided to have the car towed to nearest Mitsu which is at Cabanatuan. The mechanic says (who is the service advisor ng Chevy Isabela), ok lang daw to tow basta naka Neutral so I agreed <-- (1st Q po) Do you think this is ok and will not damage my auto tranny? Sa Mitsu, they run diagnostic tests (MUT), but no problem is being detected. They kept on repeating this process but still nothing can be found. They checked the same basics as I mentioned above and found no issue. We left the car and came back bringing a new SCV, because they suspect this and I read from the forum that this is the common culprit. They installled the new SCV but still the engine won't start. Just cranking lang like before. No fuel is being fed sa engine. They are now suspecting that maybe damaged ECU which the MUT cant detect. They are still doing manual tracing sa lahat ng electrical lines at mechanicals related sa fuel system but no findings up to now. They ordered for a new ECU for them to be able to test on my unit but still waiting for the delivery. <-- (2nd Q) Anybody who encoutered the same problem po? I'm wondering how the ECU will prematurely fail di naman nababasa yun. Hope someone can help me on this. Tnx po and sorry for the long post

    Hindi ko pa naencounter yan sa Monty, but I encountered it with my previous car which is a gasoline engine. The engine stalled and cannot be started anymore pero nagreregundo naman pag nag start. When we check, all diagnostics are clear. the main culprit, "FUEL PUMP". I am not sure kung meron fuel pump sa loob ng fuel tank ang Monty, but better ask them to test the fuel system.

    Change fuel filter after pumping all the fuel from fuel tank.

    nag stuck sa 2nd gear montero gtv ko ng umaakyat kahit pababa na naka stuck pa rin sa 2nd gear. kahit sa manual and auto. what i did was pinatal ko makina then ok na siya. ano kaya ang naging problema ng monti ko? tia

    walang problema at normal lang yan sir sa mga tranny na may adaptive function. so kapag na sense ng ECU na palagi ka nag change to a lower gear ay yung mga susunod mo na shifting ay i limit niya na sa lower gear. kapag gusto mo i-reset safely park then patayin mo makina. pag switch on mo ok na. then para hindi mag-engage yung adaptive function niya, mag sportronic mode o manual (+/-) ka na agad. convenient gamitin yung paddle shifters kapag sa mga zigzags at uphills/downhills. kapag nasanay ka sa manual you seldom go back na sa A/T mode, mas responsive kasi kapag nasa sportronic mode lalo na kung naka throttle controller ka di ba master zix ?

    Thanks the info kala ko tuloy may problema e. Pero kahit gamitin ko yung paddle shifter ganun parin e.
