Brought my 2016 Montero GLS Premium to casa today for 5K PMS. I told them regarding the power steering shake or vibration I experienced when passing through humps, making u-turns and uneven pavement. Initially the SA said he's not aware but recommended me to report to the warranty department. Luckilly Iknow someone from the warranty team and when I talked to her m, he said that they are aware of this issue. The engr from the warranty team asked to to schdule an appointment. They will do replacement of the affected parts.

I raise this with my agent before releasing my unit. He told me they haven't got any complaints yet

Mitsubishi should release a technical service bulletin with regards to this issue. Since thai counterparts already acknowledged the problem also they've found the culprit.

Do others have some feedbacks from mitsu?

May issue pa lang ganito... I may need to closely monitor this scenario just in case I experience the same.

Luckily wala pa naman akong na experience na steering problem (so far). Mine is already at 9K, nabyahe kuna po ng Baguio, nadaan sa SCTEX/TPLEX on several occassions and also have tried short unpaved road, but so far so good.

Please update us kung ano po iyong mga parts na pinalitan after your appointment.
    Thanks.

Hi. Mitsubishi GLS owner here. I have been following this thread because I have experienced the same issues. I hear a knocking thud sound on my steering wheel when turning and on uneven surfaces. Reported it on my 1000 pms but Diamond motors say it's normal which is weird. Any news on where to go for this?

I went to Mitsu last week and personally saw the memo/procedure gave by the HQ (probably memo from Thailand or Japan). Subject is "Reconditioning Procedure on Steering Lower Shaft of Montero QX with Knock Feeeling"

Ngayon naman problem ko may lumalangitngit sa steering wheel ko mismo.

Ayaw pa iconsider ni Mitsubishi na issue. As per customer complaints lang daw nila aaddress.

Got mine reconditioned last week but the knocking sound is still there. Will bring it back to Mitsu Marcos highway for another round of testing on Monday and was advised to leave it for at least 3 days which sucks...
