Theres no maintenance on the beading effect its just application of the supagard paint protection. Di gaya ng iba na coating na need mo balik after a year para lagyan ulit. This will last 3-5 years after the application.

Comparison of with supagard and no supagard. kaya may beading effect dahil sa supagard coating paint protection.

[emoji23] don't worry madami kayong misinformed at nauuto sa mga claims ng mga coating na yan. go ahead don't shampoo at all [emoji23]

Same thing with swirl proof and scratch proof and di daw kumakapit brake dust [emoji23]

Coatings aren't magic products that all of a sudden don't require shampooing to remove dirt from you car.

Bulok pala yun product mo it needs shampoo if car was dirtied unlike gi joe's product [emoji23]

    Kidding aside,

Good that your installer is honest about needing to shampoo as maintenance.

The fact that he says you do not need shampooing at all [emoji23] hope he honestly doesn't understand his product fully or unfortunately like what you said, he too is all sales talk.

These coatings are like extra layer of our factory clear coats, they still want you to remove bird droppings and other contaminants immediately, these coatings are just that, extra coating para yun ang first layer na pang laban mo sa elements, they get damaged, they need maintenance as well. Thats why certain shop requires you to go back after so so months for maintenance.

And if the distributor said to clean your car with just water and punas, hahaha swirl marks will appear sooner than later. Those car wash places' used chamois and microfibers for drying your car have lots of contaminants that will scratch your coating and with repeated cycles it will eventually swirl. Don't you see how dirty their rags are for drying your car? I see some drop it on the floor and still wipe it on customer's vehicle [emoji17]

Maybe you haven't used much of your montero to get it all dirtied, with dust, rain and parking it under the sun with bugs and bird droppings for a couple of cycles, not even a strong pressure washer alone will remove the dirt and contaminants. You will need shampooing. And besides, strong pressure washer is not advisable especially near the hood, bumper and headlights, its the main cause of electrical issues and fogged headlights.

If you see OC car owners having their cars dried with air blowers at car washes, there is a reason for it. Some to an extent even bring their own blowers and wash rags.

Anyway, by all means please do not, not even once, shampoo your vehicle for 5 years, and i'm serious. Please resist the temptation to shampoo even if you realize water and punas just wont cut it when you do get your car dirtied. It will be a good test, to really see the robustness of these coatings [emoji1417]

I will post again after a month or more na car wash no shampoo as i already done the car wash no shampoo pag spray ko pa lang ng tubig nawawala na ung dumi so punas na lang ako para matuyo.

Di ko naman spray mine ng strong watter like sa mga car wash. [emoji6]

no offense meant to all new MS owners...I have followed a new MS last night and the way I look at its tail lights/break lights, it is like two sperm cells racing upwards...with a head and tail...perhaps due to my medical background????

Nothing is mounted to it. Is it part of the ladder chasis?

Got inside a Montero Sport GLS manual transmission ... front area has better space than the automatic variant since the console is not eating up that much space ... they did not install the "wing" type console design ...

Anu mas okay na bilhin ? Montero Base Variant na Manual or Base Variant na Matic ? In terms of features and specs ? I'm also considering the maintenance cost. Thanks
