guys, how is the performance of 4m15 mivec engine? is it easy to maintain in the long run? im planning to get an strada next year, thanks

My first brand new car. So wala pa kong point of comparison. Yung engine and transmission combined can rival any model in its class. The only more powerful engine is the Trailblazer I think. 10-11km per L * 80% highway driving. Not sure sa transmission ng strada.

My total PMS cost for the first yr is P26k ~20000km (na skip ko pa yung 15000km). Sakto yung mileage ko sa months, i.e. 5000km. I don’t think anyone here already knows abt the long term (>5yrs) ownership / maintenance of the 4N15.

FS oil from Casa. Thanks, actually air filter replacement is scheduled next week at 25000km.

thanks for the reply. im planning to use it for mountainous highway driving. im just worried of its long term ownership cost compared to toyota. but i believe it can handle the beating that i will put on it.thanks again.

Compared to fortuner 3.0 2014 as I owned both (newly acquired gls premium), there are occasion that there's engine lag especially when overtaking. There is a delay in accelerating not like fortuner.

Anong fuel gamit mo sir? I also notice this pag nag shell fuel save ako ng matagal. Kaya lagi nako naka vpower. Not sure if placeabo pero yun yung observation ko. Will probably try fuel save again since 40+ na si vpower. )

V Power always. Parang delikado minsan kapag bitin if you urgently need speed. Little uphill lang ang loc. in tagaytay.

The bulb for gls drl is different from the foglamp bulb although housed in the same place

mga sir question about sa average consumption display ng gen 3. nagrreset ba sya automatically kahit hindi imanual reset? tuwing pinapatay ko kasi engine on the night then start in the morning nagiging blank ung ave consumption. bago ko iswitch off ung engine sa gabi ung ave consumption nya nasa mga 11km/L, then in the morning nagiging 4+km/L then nagiimprove as I drive. tia

If ever ma install sayo yung LED, binalik ba nila yung headlight cover na itim n malaki? duon s picture n sinend ko inalis ko n yung cover n bilog para ma expose yung Headlight...ang gusto ko nalng malamn e binalik ba nila? kasi if binalik nila,,ok lang ba kasi need ng space for air ventelation ng heatsink ng LED. Balak ko kasi ako nalng mag install ng LED sa Headlight pero naalanagn lang ako sa space talaga at duon s cover ng headlight kaya hindi muna ako nag install...sana yung nakapag install na ma ishare nila yung ginawa s headlight nila...

No not yet done coz Im planning for hid upgrades. Led lights is not good for rainy season coz light not penetrate sa raindrops specially kung mga out of town ang byahe. They have fb try to send message for queries.

It is in the color kahit HID pa gamit mo as long it is bright white (above 5000k color temp) it will get hard to penetrate during rainy days. Kaya masmaganda if double color yung Headlight/ Foglight mo, yung isa 3000k for fog or rainy at yung isa 5000k-6000k for normal. At parang LED lang ata may ganun dual color.
