just got our montero sport gls-v yesterday. so far so good. it's the first time we've acquired a diesel vehicle so i guess there's some adjustments to be made.

btw, anong diesel fuel ang gamit niyo? and totoo bang or/cr comes together w/ the new plates? mukhang matatagalan pa iyon kung ganun

I got my or/cr even without plate yet. It's a proof na talagang nagbayad na yung casa for registration. Blank lang yung nakalagay sa plate number field.

^^ Well seaoil offers euro 3 diesels while unioil offers euro 4 diesels. I use seaoil since it is the nearest in our place. But i only fill up my tank with these gas stations.

Where do you live boss? Hmm actually the big three players offer euro 2 diesels only.

This is the instruction about SIQL test na pinakita sakin ng SA when they solve my emission problem. So far since that fix, very much ok ang emission ng MS ko. Base on my Odo nakatakbo na ako ng almost 12K..

Advice ko sayo sir, do this test first before anything else na pagawa sayo. Gumastos kasi ako sa pagbaba ng fuel tank dahil ang initial findings nila sa MS ko is about fuel contamination daw ng water. But after this pull down ng tank mausok pa din dati ang MS ko.

Yes Big Buzz, when i got low power and heavy smoke problem before. They did replace also the fuel filter and SCV (suction Control Valve). But after all those done, still mausok pa din dati ang MS ko.


Until they do SIQL procedure everything went well. This is free procedure ng casa, so my suggestion to everyone with this issue is better do this SIQL first than to spend money for other fix suggested by them.

Still upto now very responsive and no black smoke ang MS ko.

Sirs, may problema na po kayo sa usok at tunog ng makina ng monty nyo? Try po e Google ang small injection quantity learning dyan mabasa nyo ang procedure and periodic ng SIQL. May downloadable pdf manual ng L200 Triton na kaparehas ng monty.

SIQL is done when fuel related parts are replaced. katulad sa case mo na pinalitan ang scv, hindi talaga pwede na walang siql, nakalimutan nila gawin yun nung pinalitan scv mo

Hello! ok lang po bang magpa-gas ng montero sa Caltex ayos lang po sya? ung Bank na pinagkuhanan ko ng loan ay may free 5,000 sa Caltex.

mga tsikooters at monty owners kindly check po ung mga gas tank nyo for possible "rust". My silent recall ang gas tank ng montero. Pag na contaminate ng kalawang ang gas tank nyo mag check engine siya. Hope this help our fellow monty owners. Paki confirm na lang po sa mga service advisor natin.Thank you god bless

yun Gls-v pwde ba pa fit Oem hid fm GTV?

kahit yun buong headlight assembly, plug and play?

or get a 2nd set GLS-v headlights then pa gary's retrofit

this early i want to invest on the lights kaya baka hindi ako masaya pag pa install lang ng Hid kit sa gls-v.

Yun 2008 camry palang ang na drive ko na HID, wala ng iba. I currently use Phillips Vision plus and Osram nightbreaker (tumagal buhay kasi kabit ko pag out of town lang ako).

2013 Montero Sports will be released on October. GLS-V A/C controller will be same as GTV, wipers will have sensors which will automatically turn-on when it rains. (at may mga iba pang pagbabago including sa seat adjuster). For those who are planning to buy now, antay muna tayo ng 1 month pa.
