4x4 po yan, dami kasi ang stock ng auto tranny. ngayon ko lang nalaman sa nagcontact sa akin na kakaunti lang pala ang allocation ng plant sa mga dealers. ang sa auto wala kang prob sa unit nagdagdag pa ng discount sa promo nila.

Hi I just bought a new 2012 montero gls v. Ive been doig some reading on some of the post and learned alot. Thanks for the members for posting.
By the way, i just want to know, at what RPM does the vgt turbo kick in?! Iv asked the mitsubishi casa at my town they told me at 1300 rpm. How true is that?! So it means even at city driving, the turbo is engaged?!
My main concerned about it is... Is the proper time to turn off the engine bcz of what ive heared you need to let the turbo to cool off before turning off the engine. Thanks

Hi Jaymcbone,

Na experience ko din yan sa gls-v ko after 1K pms, initially it was gray then turns to black. Try mo ibalik sa any casa ng mitsu to perform the SIQL test ng computer box mo. This test SIQL (Small Injection Quantity Learning) is parang calibration, to maintain daw yung emission level and ma learn ng computer box mo yung correct timing of fuel injection to combustion.


I will try to send you the instruction showed to me by Mitsu.

Kinda worried with my 3 day old GTV. Talagang mausok siya compared to my Fortuner. Is this normal? Gray smoke naman sya pero nasanay kasi ako sa Fort ko na parang auto lang.

This is the instruction about SIQL test na pinakita sakin ng SA when they solve my emission problem. So far since that fix, very much ok ang emission ng MS ko. Base on my Odo nakatakbo na ako ng almost 12K..

Advice ko sayo sir, do this test first before anything else na pagawa sayo. Gumastos kasi ako sa pagbaba ng fuel tank dahil ang initial findings nila sa MS ko is about fuel contamination daw ng water. But after this pull down ng tank mausok pa din dati ang MS ko.

Thanks for this info, just encounter this same problem on alarm. Pachk ko nga din sa Winterpine.

same problem, replaced shock sensor under warranty. looks like common problem with montero mine is just 2 wks old.

did somebody saw a white monty with heavy smoke?.. Parang rare yata, just my assumption lang. At least i did not experience this..

Sir, seconds after your monty start ur vgt kicks or slight exhaust gas pressure developed on exhaust manifold rotates the turbocharger turbine blades same with the non vgturbocharger, if it does not you'll have a big problem.

Madalas kasi mangayari. Parang kanina on our way to antipolo. Malaking tulong kasi yung voice instruction. By 5k pms siguro pacheck ko na.

same case here sir., minamalat yata yung voice sa gps kaya di makapag-salita, akin nga 2nd day pa lang pag-release sa casa wala na up to now. just wondering san na ba dadalin ung unit mga sir., casa or winterpine? and where exactly is winterpine located., sabi sa internet araneta ave when i research den may nakita ko sa timog area naman den meron din lapit sa aurora blvd., are all these branches? thanks., kung may contact number kyo ma-provide ng winterpine sir much appreciated... lagi kasi busy. hehehe!

This test/calibration is free since under warranty.

Nagkataon lang siguro sa unit ko itong incident, but Im glad this resolved my previous issue in emission and at the same time yung hatak mas gumanda.

same case here sir., minamalat yata yung voice sa gps kaya di makapag-salita, akin nga 2nd day pa lang pag-release sa casa wala na up to now. just wondering san na ba dadalin ung unit mga sir., casa or winterpine? and where exactly is winterpine located., sabi sa internet araneta ave when i research den may nakita ko sa timog area naman den meron din lapit sa aurora blvd., are all these branches? thanks., kung may contact number kyo ma-provide ng winterpine sir much appreciated... lagi kasi busy. hehehe!

Yes Sir. Yung nasa left side ng HU cover na parang me mga "hiwa hiwa" na butas. Infairness naman sa BT connection, malinaw ang incoming at outgoing voice calls, hindi parang "ngongo".
