Guys, in the MS with the standard security alarm dealer option, is the LED indicator (beside the side mirror folding switch) always on with a blue light? Is there a way to turn it off while I'm driving? Thanks!

as far as i know blue LED light only turns on when you activate the alarm...it is turn off when you deactivate alarm.

sir talagang one year lang ang warranty ng battery. pero you get away with that kasi sabi ninyo mag-one year pa lang siya this month, check ninyo exact date ng purchase ninyo, pwede ninyo ilaban yan. huwag kayo bibili ng bago if wala one year yung MS ninyo sir

Sir bronzems when the blue light is on during driving afaik the alarm is deactivated. So you need to activate it first.
Long press the red button located at the extreme left side below the side mirror controls under the dashboard while the key is on position

good day fellow monty owners. just want to share my experience upon using unioil. i finally was able to gas up using their diesel with less than 1/4 left of vpower. so far, all praises ang masasabi ko. engine is more quiet and halos wala ng smell when i start up in the morning. will continue to observe and hopefully, tuloy tuloy ang magandang maidulot sa monty ko. thanks to sir zix for sharing.

sir masyadong pricey yang battery for 8k. brother-in-law ko got a 3SN Motolite Gold for 4.5k. Not sure lang price ng GS Batteries. pero most of the time talaga, yun lifespan ng battery is shorter if it is not being cycled(charged/discharged) everyday. Sa MSCP, there are MS na ang batteries are already going 36 months...

Sir you have to press the valet button at least 5 secs until you hear a beep. That red button is actually to activate and diactivate valet mode.

Thanks guys! Naka-off na yung LED indicator sa wakas. Hindi pala pwede naka-start yung engine when doing this. Weird thing is the dealer said that LED indicator should really be on all the time...

btw, ang dealer ko is Citimotors-Makati, my SA is Joseph Tan.

whoa, ETACS (electronic total automobile control system), such a major component of the vehicle, where everything begins, so to speak. providing you a service vehicle is just the least they could do. see if you can get something in writing from them that heaven forbid, something goes wrong again, they are still liable. better, a replacement of your unit. one of the reasons why we get brand new quality vehicles is to avoid the anxiety of having breakdowns and the living hell of actually having one.

if you have the time, seek the opinion of the dti. you should not be deprived from enjoying your brand new montero sport costing over a million pesos! again good luck and hope everything turns out well.

Siguro kapag bumalik ulit yung sira ng unit namin, that's the right time na mag demand na kami ng change unit.

My my, I've read all the pages and a big percentage of this thread is about the shortcomings of the Monty. I'm already having second thoughts of purchasing one. Minor recurring glitches that equates to major major headaches.

you get to read everything in car fora. majority of posts are really complaints and problems. this is true for vehicles of all brands! posts here inform consumers and help them make wise decisions about purchases as well as reliable fixes and remedies for problems both minor and major.

the montero sport is a very good vehicle with a lot of satisfied owners (myself included). unfortunately, we are all well aware of the dreaded lemon unit. mitsubishi is not alone in this. even the so-called luxury brands have these. even only it represents a small proportion of brand new units released, nobody deserves the agony of owning one.

it is about time the dti shows it is really on the side of its boss, the consumer. i can't quite place it....someone once said "....kayo ang boss ko..." hmmm......

if you are really in the market for a new ride, you can't go wrong with a montero sport.

Guys, I'd like a favor in liking my friend's Montero Sport entry sa Hot Import Nights Manila. MSCP members should already be VERY familiar with him but I might as well do a shameless plug here since pinapalaki pa namin yun lead niya from #2
