It's still best kung maginquire ka sa dealer mismo. Yung mga ads sa sulit.com might be right, might be not. Although depende din kasi sa agent.

Hi, guys. New here. Planning to buy a new car. Question lang po.

How about freebies, ano pwede kong sabihin para mapilit ko sila for freebies? May 2 options silang binigay - 1) PhP55,000 discount, insurance, LTO reg and chattel not free; 2) Free insurance, chattel and LTO reg, no discount. Ano po mas maganda piliin?

    Maraming salamat!

    1. Shop around for banks who can give you the lowest rate. Usually if you have a sizeable dealings with one bank, you can ask them to beat market. If not, kuha ka sa ibang bangko. You may also do this with insurance houses. Some banks partner with or have their own insurance offerings na rin. Compute, compute, compute, especially when deciding your DP, tenor, if you are paying one month in advance (OMA), and monthly amortization. I cannot stress the COMPUTE part enough. When the bank has approved your loan:

    2. Go to multiple dealerships. Sabihin mo may deal ka na with an existing bank and you want to negotiate price. Compare their deals. Most of the time, paiba iba yung offer ng dealerships. DO NOT TELL THEM YOU ARE DEAD SET ON BUYING, and that you are comparing cars from other makes, etc. Make them come to you. Compare, make them counter-offer each other dealer. Then pick:

    3. The freebies.

-Chattel Mortgage from casa - not needed, as you will be dealing with a bank.
-LTO Reg - ask how much this is worth then factor into mixing and matching your freebies.

    Accessories, etc

-Casa Tint is usually no good kahit sabihin pa nila na "3M yan ser". Yung ibang casa tinted cars namin, ampanget ng pagkagawa. Have it done elsewhere (NOT ALONG THE BANAWE SIDEWALK).
    -Window/rain visors
-Tailpipe chrome tip (IF MERON and if your car doesn't come with this as stock)
    -Stepboard, if you'd want one
    -Rear sensors
    -Horn

HAVE THE AGREED UPON DEAL WRITTEN DOWN.

    4. Go back to bank, inform them of the details of the dealer - Showroom, Sales advisor spoken with/contact details. Work out other things with insurance, etc. They should coordinate from there to the release.

    Hope this helps.

I do, so ok lang. Most name brand tint shops will call them anyway if you get your car tinted at the shop. If you need any help with accessories or modifications. Andito naman ang mga Tsikoteers. Mabait sila. hehe.

Thanks a lot sir!

    Another question
Binigyan ako lots of accessory freebies and free compre insurance, chattel, ang LTO reg.

Based on your experience guys, which one is better - inhouse financing or direct sa bank na loan (in terms of saving money anf freebies)? Thanks!

    Again, compute.

In our experience, super laki ng difference ng inhouse financing sa direct sa bank. This is why some dealers can offer you huge "discounts" kapag inhouse.

Most of the "freebies" have a corresponding monetary value naman e. If you want the value for your money, you won't hesitate to spend some time doing the necessary computations.

Btw, yung Montero GLX, nasa 1.2M nalang. Parang better value yun in the long run, lalo if you can afford it. Have you given that a look?

I can't say for Gen 1 Advie, but for my 2012 SS, the ride is bumpy, yesterday past 12mn I was driving along Daang Hari (100-110 kph), its like riding a kalesa on uneven road (masyadong bouncy sa rear), nakakainis yun leafspring suspension talaga. I wanted to reduce the tire pressure at rear from recommended 38psi to 35psi but for sure it will cost much to my FC currently stands * 11.5 km/l (mixed driving).

Hindi ko lang alam kung baka dahil bouncy because nadaaanan ko yun napabalitang humihiga sa kalsada along daang hari tapos pag huminto ka, sabay hold up (joke) :D

The ride of the Advie is really harsh specially if compared to sedans. Of course this is offset by the "toughness" of the suspension, meaning you have the confidence to pass over small bumps and road imperfections with ease.
