For those who may be confused about the specifications given by Nocturnal, he stated it is the specification for the SE (GT-V). The SE is in small (se).

He didn't give the spec for the other models but he did give price.

All of what he said is in line with what my SA has said to me, except he mentioned reversing camera and never mention the new name designation (GT-V)

Weew guess I should already put myself on the waiting list... :D I am quite late already if this is the case... Hahaha.. Okay mind if you share what price did he mentioned to you?

un nga po ang nkakaasar sa sales talk ng mga SA e. haha.. tayo na bibili tyo pa parang nahabol sa kotse haha.. any way hantay ko na lang cguro baka mag sisi ako pag 2010 pa pinili ko haha.. wla na din white haha.. yaan nio sir normyline22 pag nasa kamay nio na montero vgt nio sulit naman un.. un lang sa ngaun comute mode muna kayo tiis muna din hehe..

Hello guys,

My SA just called, sabi nila (he was quoting his manager) ONLY automatic transmission variance (4x4 AT and 4x2 AT) will be launched this February. Further, he states that those are the ONLY variance that will have the VGT.

I’m opting kasi for the GLX, sabi niya 2011 4x2 MT will be the same (specs and all, not even a new grill, year lang ang difference) as last year’s. Can anyone confirm this? I would really appreciate any comments on this soonest, kasi meron na daw sila nung color na gusto ko.

ang alam ko din kahit noon pa only the A/T version will have the VGT ... siguro kung lumabas man yan VGT for GLX hindi pa ngayon... if you will analyze late din nilabas yun GLX compare sa dalawang A/T GLS and GLS SE.. But then buti na yun sure clarify if its 100% na hindi pa lalabas GLX VGT within the next 3-4months.

A Mitsubishi executive did mention in one of the local newspapers that only the Montero Sport AT line will have new engines this year.

Yep walter I saw that. It was a text message from Froilan Dytianquin saying they are upgrading the MS and Strada, going on to say it vgt and mmcs is going in auto models.

• tail pipe finisher

di po pwede ilagay ang VGT sa present Monteros kasi you also have to replace some of the internals. It now uses high strength bearing caps and high strength aluminum alloy pistons, thinner piston rings to accomodate the cooling cavity and high load small and big end con rod bearings

price... wala pa official from the plant, although may isang dealer who is quoting the 4x2 AT*1.410M but its not official yet. both 4x4 AT and 4x2 AT have the VGT engine. 4x4 MT will have the 3-MID system, 4x2 MT is unchanged

units... is already here but it still has to wait until the Feb 24 launching. price will be announced then. same color availability, no introduction of new colors.

The picture from JPG111 is of the multimedia display on the GT-V and GLS Auto. This is an new feature and there is no mention of downgrading any model. The SE already has leather and Climate Control as will the GT-V and paddle shift.

He goes on to state about the extra or new body features on the SE (GT-V). HoneyComb Grill, Special Badging, & Rear Spoiler. I think there may be an exhaust garnish also.

I've seen / noticed one unit (not on display) at the back of one of Mitsu casa farther in the south. It's a white color with honeycomb grille & override bumper.
Seems similar profile to an X5 front. (from my eyes only)

What i want to find out is IF the GLS 4x2 A/T will get the Full Auto Aircon or at least the heater function as well... haiz... and the fuel economy versus the 3.2 4M41.
