    Wooooooo weeeeeeeeeeeeeee

He is correct in the first part ....... but

    P1,408,000
Delivery to Cebu: P23,000 (unavoidable ripoff)
    = P1,431,000

Less pre 15th Feb booking discount of P20,000 (inline with MMPC 'single pricing policy')

    Should be P1,411,000

Fast Autoworld are the company that own Cebu dealership. The P23,000 delivery is hard enough to take (Toyota has it too), but not giving you the same discount as in Manila might have you considering bringing it from Manila yourself. Fast Autoworld have a pretty much a monolopy sa Visayas.

Ask Mr Joe Cobrado sa Cebu dealership are they not giving the same discount for early orders inline with other dealerships and MMPC single pricing policy ....

mga sirs, according to a reliable source, metro dealers (Union motors, Diamond motors and Citimotors) will be receiving their initial supplies of Montero 4x2 A/T next week. the 1.408M with 20K discount will only be good for the first 1,000 units. product launching will be on the 22nd.

This is true. There is already a 4x2 AT Montero now on display in Union Motors Paco. I took some pictures using my cellphone, noticeable exterior difference from the old model is the red letter V at the back (below the initilais GLS) to indicate that its VGT already.

I also asked about the 4x4, wala pa daw pricing. Most likely daw is April.

We will have our Monty tomorrow A little bit excited

The GT-V 4x4 will not launch with the 4x2 according to my Casa manager. It seems they are stalling it until next month as they did not manage to sell all the 3.2s.

The motoring press were supposed to be testing it next Friday, whether it's both models or just the 4x2, who knows?

Sir Sinoda said yesterday that his new 4x2 was already at his dealership yesterday.

April? My guy says they expect it next month. What are they doing with all the GT-Vs they brought into The Philippines in January? Am now wondering if there is a problem with it, like no spoilers or badging or worse.

MMPC could at least tell their dealership managers more about their release plans.

Expatio, it's alright. The more information to fellow Monty enthusiasts, the better. By the way, the April date may not be that accurate since it was only the SA which told me about it after I asked him about the 4x4. I did not pursue the point since we're getting the 4x2. Perhaps, the (delayed) release of the 4x4 VGT is preconditioned on how soon they can dispose of its predecessor model.

Apparently, the 4x2 units are already in the MMPC plant since our unit will be pulled out from there and released to us tomorrow (hopefully no delay). It appears that some early birds will get the units ahead of Montero's official launch. But it's only a matter of time that others can get hold of their Montys, after the launch.

We're getting the sedona red. Meron siguro ibang colors kasi yung nakadisplay na unit sa Mitsu Paco is dark gray.
Ang sabi sa amin nung SA namin last week e may allocations daw ang bawat dealer that will be released prior to official launch on Feb24. Syempre ang priority nila is inhouse financing kasi mas malaki ang kikitain nila. That's why I posted the other day if anyone has heard the same info from their dealers. At first, I was telling my wife it can't be true na magrerelease before the launching. But I was proven wrong which is good naman in the sense that we will be one of the early birds who will drive the new Monty Tomorrow is the day... Sana hindi kami madisppoint by any delay .

Don't worry, malapit na rin lumabas yan. It's just a matter of time. Exciting di ba

Not worried; just a little disappointed.

Was expecting my GT-V before the end of the month. My sales manager is very sympathetic; but he cannot give me information that he does not have. MMPC are not even giving the CASA managers details of the GT-V release; which is disappointing, and also frustrating for the very people who are selling their merchandise for them.

Emailing MMPC is a waste of time as they have never even acknowledged queries I have sent them last year don't mind last week.

same here in bohol for the 4x2 a/t gls.

1.431M less 8T discount 1.423. no early reservation fee discount.
plus comprehensive insurance. plus rust proofing.

more or less 1.471M cash price here.

Problem is! no advice on when they will accept reservations and release of the units.

the new montero was already released actually. We brought home a new montero yesterday and as per the SA in charge, ours was the first or second newest monteros released in the whole country. Of course, no way to verify and nothing important really. The color that they released was quartz brown.

as for the older variant, they discontinued selling the 4x2 AT variant as early as december for diamond motors so they weren't selling soon to be replaced variant (again, as per SA and no way to verify as well). They were still selling though the MT model which wasn't replaced.
