Skybison, have you managed to change the settings? I can't activate Diagbox, it always fails. I managed to install and activate Lexia and PPS2000 but when using Lexia, I can't write/save the changes because it asks for a code (03114 doesn't work).

Sorry late reply. Hehe despite nagtext na tayo this morning -sasagutin ko na rin dito.

    Lexia/PP doesn't work with 2011 up models of ASX/RVR/OutlanderSport.
Diagbox 6.08 raw is the best version that reads/writes our ETACS.
But have to downgrade the cables' firmware and edit a file to prevent the software from auto-updating the firmware to the latest.

Will update once i sort/work things out. The grumpy-lazy-me made me lost my excitement here. Hehe iniisip ko na lang yun usd120 investment ko. Haha!

Textmate, e-mail mo saken 'yung 6.08 pag na-download mo. Hehe. Try ko i-downgrade mamaya. 'Kala ko straightforward process, di pala. Sayang ang $104+P800+duty/tax pag hindi napakinabangan. Not to mention 'yung red tape na dinanas ko ( > 2 hours na hintay) sa Pasay para kunin sa Customs. >:->

I heard version 6.22 works well with the 2012 model. Will try that too.

I've managed to make the cable work after much tinkering and a couple of sleepless nights. The lexia software can read the ASX 2012's settings but it won't let you change any of these. Diagbox does work but it will take away some joy from your life for being such a pain in the a$$ to install and activate, let alone the way it works -- the settings that matter are buried deep and it would take a scholarly person to dig deep into the World Wide Web to know how to use it. And what type of software takes lightyears just to exit?

Anyway, I managed to install and activate Diagbox in Windows XP using Virtualbox under Windows 7 64-bit. XP Mode under Windows 7 gave me some headaches -- it simply didn't work.

So after wasting time and energy to make this cable work, I did manage to make the car auto-unlock in Park mode, although I changed it back later because I felt I didn't need it. I also changed the time for the intermittent function of the wiper at the back to something longer, though I changed it back to eight seconds after. One thing that still puzzles me is I couldn't for the life of me find the settings for automatic locking -- it's simply not there or I'm blind.

If it's any consolation, I did manage to activate the beeping sound when locking and unlocking using the remote. Now I know the doors are locked for sure because you won't hear the sound when a door is ajar. Now, that's sweet. Is it worth $105 and the pain I had to endure dealing with terribly inefficient Customs people? Maybe not. Hopefully I could use the other settings later, including setting the headlamp to Xenon once I get that retrofit soon.

For those thinking of getting the lexia 3 cable, I tell you: It's not for the faint of heart. So think again and think hard. >:->

Guys, sa'n ako pwede magpalagay ng K&N filter at magkano? Dumating na 'yung Amazon order ko at medyo na-intimidate ako -- ang laki pala nito, 'kala ko parang isang pack lang sigarilyo. Haha.

What did you get? Cone type filter? If cone type, you'll need to have a tube adapter & brackets (to prevent the filter from flopping around the engine bay). You might be able to use existing "kits" from SIMOTA if the tube has the same diameter as your cone's fitting.
