Isn't it obvious that an aftermarket turbo will void the car's warranty?

As for the looks, i've already quoted for front and side skirt (carbon fiber) and it costs 28 to 35k.
Just get ones made of fiberglass and painted to match the body color. Much cheaper and functions the same.

If you aren't happy yet, have them wrapped in carbonfiber-look vinyl sticker. No one would know the difference.

does this include the gls/glx models?

I inquired the 2010 Lancer EX series just this Saturday at the nearby Mitsu dealership.

They said all Lancer EX 2.0L models (GLS, GLX, GT, GTA) will have the new grill/bumper styling.

Just wait till the 100,000KM or 3yrs and you can do anything on your car's engine.

Kaya nga... save up the starbucks money for 3 years, drive it stock muna like a good boy, then when the warranty lapses put the tarbo in it and watch the rest inhale your exhaust. Why spend for rice when you can spend on ULAM, so to speak? The EX looks nice, or rather mean enough without those glorified mudguards around the car. If you NEED to spend on aesthetics, maybe you could spend it instead on detailing the car.

    Go fast > look fast.

I'm sorry, but whenever I hear the word sideskirts and Lancer I'm reminded of this Lancer itlog with the ubiquitous "EVO III" skirts, spraycan paintjob, "TRD" and SPOON" stickers on it and a fartcan exhaust that sounds like a goddamn riot when revved but moves likes it's stuck on first gear. It's often parked in front of our office with the driver waiting for his girlfriend, with "basag" separates blaring Kanye West music, and I shudder to think of a Lancer EX ending up with the same fate as that poor CB.

The sideskirts and chin spoilers I was referring to were the stock type found on the GT and GT-A models. It has been a popular mod for those who bought the GLX and GLS models because they couldn't afford the GT/GTA models.

If you really want to go fast and not just look fast... there are a lot of quicker cars you can get for the money. The Focus TDCi and Civic 2.0, in particular, have much more potential than the Lancer.

Thanks guys andami na replies. Ginaganahan na ko.

Finollow up ko na kanina sa Mitsubishi Alabang, update ko din kayo. Can't wait for it... I'll give it a good 1-2 months before I upgrade the wheels. (18 as Niky said!)

Then after it will work on the body kit... Wheels muna bago body kit, tingin niyo? Tapos chaka na yung tarbo/turbo. Haha.

I'm thinkin of getting an exhaust too. Papano ba systema dun? Bili lang ako ng upgrade ng exhaust.. Sorry... Noob talaga. Drove a stock Altis for 3 years then stopped driving. Ngayon lang ako ulit mag stastart at mahihilig sa cars.

Google and you will find it.

There is also a shop in Metro Manila who can do an entire car... not cheap though.

Depends on how much boost and power you want and how long you want the engine to last.

With a modest amount of boost, your basic 4G63 (non-T) should be able to take about 200 whp with no problems, as long as it's properly cared for. But: If you want 300 whp (EVO-level power), you're better off just buying a 4G63T, with its stouter internals. But even an Evo engine needs prepping for the big numbers... 500-600 whp.. though that's crazy amounts of boost and power already.

A 4B11 should take about 8-10 psi of boost safely if properly tuned. The Genesis version of the engine is only mildly built, but does 200+ hp stock. The Evo version, though, has different internals and stronger construction, and is good for 400 hp... maybe more... the potential of this engine hasn't been fully realized yet.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Kung kayo papipiliin? Lancer EX GLS 2010 or BMW Z3 Roadster 1998? Same price lang. Syempre yung Roadster may 60-70km mileage na. XD

Mitsu Lancer pa din. A twelve year old BMW is still a 12 year old car with all the included headaches of a car that is 12 years old.

And for me, the Z3 roadster isn't that nice a car. But if it was the Z4, ...

Unless you own a BMW dealership or at least a talyer and you have deep pockets, owning a Z3 is much more expensive than an EX as a daily driver. You have to take into consideration the total cost of ownership: Vehicle cost + insurance + maintenance. You also cannot park a softtop Z3 outside unless gusto mong mabutas yung top niyan by vandals. This is not Japan or Europe where almost all the citizens are civilized.
