i think the the bottom line here is you followed what you like and swak sa budget mo as long as in the long run you wont regret what you decided i mean who cares kung hindi gt-a or top of the line ang kotse mo dapat i appreciate na may pangbili ng kotse and hindi kakapusin sa budget kahit bare or base model basta it gets the job done intended and no hassle, kung may pera eh di un top of the line kung hindi naman kaya settle for what you can afford .

Tulad nung sa PIMS last time, tinanong ko lang ano specs nung 1.6 na MX, kasi nakasetup ung display nila. Two months ago, bago ko din makuha ung GT-A, sabi sakin, leather seats daw un makukuha ko. Kaso alam ko namang hindi, kaya umo-o nalang ako kunwari. Parang di nila binasa ung brochure. Haha! Kaya maganda talaga magtanong tanong sa mga meron na sa forums or sa mga kilala natin.

haha agree sir! I have the same experience with a Toyota SA. hehe mali mali kahit price good thing may tsikot forums. First hand experience at walang bolahan. Bait pa fellow tsikoteers

The Lancer EX is fine as a first car for a newbie driver... just take extra care when backing up (reversing).

Mags and tires...

2nd hand GTA mags = 15K to 25K depending on condition for set of FOUR.
18 inch tires = used P15K and new around P28k to P40K depending on brand/size/model.

I suggest doing without the bodykit. Just blackout the center-bar of the front grill and you'll have a similar effect of the GTA front end.

Usually done in two methods. First is a plain black matt-finish sticker (I used this for my ASX). Second is to have it painted black.

Engine: 2.0L normally aspirated engine with 153hp
Transmission: CVT with six simulated gears
Drive: FWD

Ralliart SRP - P2.3M
Engine: 2.0 turbo charged engine with 240hp
Tranmission: 6-speed TC-SST
Drive: AWD

If you have a limited budget, you might want to check into the new 2012 Lancer EX 1.6L GLX variants that are now available for under P900K.

At the moment, I do not think they have headers for the new 1.6L engine. The UNICHIP can be installed on the 1.6L engine but I do not know how much gains you can gain through dyno tuning.

The length of the Lancer EX rear end sometimes makes it difficult to make reverse maneuvers.
