Thanks for the feedback! based from this thread, parang hirap yun AC pag nabilad especially during summer. sa experience ko kasi, honda and toyota madali lumamig kahit tirik ang araw sa trapik. im a bit concerned sa AC since mainitin ang passengers ko. :-D

i am not sure if the cause of poor aircon performance under the hot sun is the aircon itself, or the under-insulation of the car..
the ceiling of my innova does not get as hot as my lancer's ceiling. and my base sentra's ceiling is the hottest of them three!

Sabagay minsan lang naman siya masira, mahusay naman manakbo...I just hate the sumpong thing it does..parang babae, pag sinumpong ala ka na magagawa..

had the same problem with my car yesterday. til now ayaw pa rin umistart. it's a 09 lancer. ano po diagnosis sa inyo ng casa? i still havent made up my mind kung ipapasok ko pa sa casa yun kotse o papagawa na lang sa isang mechanic near my place

Sinundo na ng tow truck kanina at naiuwi ko rin ng hapon...total damage P1900 plus...1500 sa tow truck, 450 sa diagnostics...0 sa piyesa..ang culprit may isang fuse nanaman daw na pumutok, isa doon sa maliliit na nasa left side...at dahil may spare, yun nalang ang ginamit. Wala din daw nagpoprompt sa computer nila kaya inisa isa niya each fuse till my SA found the burnt one..pinalitan, ayun umandar..

nung una, anong nakitang problema?
sa pangalawa, ano namang fuse kaya ito? wala namang fuse ang starter... solenoid fuse kaya?? i can't seem to remember when was the last time i heard of a starter solenoid fuse committing hara-kiri..

Busted fuse means there is a fault within the circuit. Replacing it doesn't mean it will solve the problem, I hope it wont, but the chances of this being repeated is high. Also, please take note that the ampere rating of the fuse must not be tampered according to factory specs, as this would cause bigger problem. The casa having the right tools should pinpoint the cause. Again, simply replacing the fuse will just pacify the problem, not solving it. Why not try bringing it to another Mitsu casa? There is a chance that the other casa has a more equipt personnel.

just to update you guys. had a mechanic service my car yesterday. when he saw it, he asked kung ilang days ng nakaslant yun parking ko and i said it has been 5 days kasi usually nagmomotor lang ako papasok. alam na kagad nya ang problema. hindi pala umaabot yun gasolina dahil nastuck on the back side. he just poured in about 3 liters of fuel then nagstart na. ganon lang pala kasimple. hehe. lesson learned. just want to share this so that if anyone will have similar experience in the future e hindi magpanic.

Thanks for sharing that info. Anyway, its also good to know that your car has that safety feature. It will definitely prevent air to be sucked by the engine, which of course is harmful.
