Aircon is not good. Just okay at best. Lalo na pagtanghali at tirik yung araw. Di malamig masyado kahit imax yung thermostat. Kung at high speeds malamig din naman kasi yung compressor gets help from the engine. Pero kung traffic, medyo di talaga malamig enough for me. Pagwalang araw though at kung maulan no probs.
I thnk isa sa weaknesses ng mitsu ung AC system. Sa montero, adventure, di rin ganun kalamig. Yung FD mo ba mike mas malamig AC?
Yup.
Mga bossing can you give me a brief explanation why would I choose lancer ex 1.6 glx vs lancer gt a 2.0 (2009)? Tia!

^ bossing, transmission is a personal preference or a personal need. Get an M/T if you plan or madalas ka sa race track or if you want to enhance your driving skills, hands and feet coordination, etc. Get the CVT if you just need a car for city driving, big advantage on stop/go traffic, but it doesn't kill spirited driving with its 6-speed sportronic function. CVTF ang tamang fluid and not the ordinary ATF.
Actually, ikaw lang ang makakasagot nyan if kung gusto mo ng manual or matic.
Ganun ba sir? So hindi naman din lugi sa maintenance ng cvt in case na may problema? Mejo mag 5 yrs na din kc yung gt-a nya eh. Ang worried ko baka biglang bumigay yun. Hehe.
Another question, sulit na ba sa 600k yun or better to go sa bnew na 1.6 manual? 37km n dw ang natakbo nun since na seaman din sya I think minsan nya lang din magamit.

Wala naman problema sa fc since d ko din naman gagamitin for work eh. Anyway thanks bossing!

Just check the maintenance records if available. 600T is ok as long as it's well maintained and not flooded.
Usually brandnew recommendation ko pero in your case, pinsan mo naman. Di ka naman siguro nya lolokohin. Its okay. Yan kasi usually sakit ng lancer after 3 years. Mahal din yun palitan. The only thing youll miss from the 1.6 glx is fuel consumption. Malaki talaga ang difference nila when it comes to that. Obvious naman din 1.6 vs 2.0. Kaya actually you can afford to speed up more with the 1.6. Less guilt. Haha. Well either one is a good choice but id go for the gta of your cousin. Kaya risky talaga ang used car for me. Malaki laki matitipid mo by choosing the gta of your cousin. Aftermarket wheels 50k agad magagastos mo. Tapos for sure kelangan mo ng bodykits. Sideskirts alone is 10k.
If I can afford a brand new unit, I'll get it for peace of mind in terms of quality. And nothing beats that brand-new-car smell. Pero brand new unit doesn't guarantee good quality kasi meron pa din mga lemon units out there and wala pa tayong Lemon Law to fully protect car buyers.
In case of buying a pre-owned car, it depends on the previous owner. Since pinsan mo naman yan, just follow what Walter and Mikemike said (check records and ask for additional discount). Since seaman sya at hindi madalas nagagamit yung car, dapat papalitan mo na yung mga fluids nyan especially yung engine oil since likely may oil sludge na yan kasi hindi palaging naiinitan ang makina.
Also, don't worry about the durability of Invecs III CVT. It will last together with the car used under normal driving conditions (including spirited driving) as long as it is properly maintained (i.e. CVTF). Hindi naman siguro nag 10 hot laps sa racing track yan kasi mag overheat yung CVT under that circumstance. Mas durable ang M/T as compared to CVT but it doesn't mean that CVT is not durable enough.
Ganun po ba? Thanks sa mga experts suggestion nyo. I'll ask muna yung mga sinabi nyu then I'll report back here. Hehe. Thanks ulit mga bossing!

Anu palagay niyo mga paps mirage vs lancer 1.6 in terms of FC?
Maachieve mo lng yang 11 km/l sa ex kung d masyadong traffic siguro or kng mixed hiway and city.
Just a few days ago around 12am tinry ko lang tipirin si ex novaliches to libis.
Id go for EX not because of the fc but because its in a different category, it is bigger in every aspect.

Actually paps pansin ko sa small engined car (meron kami 1.3 vios) di siya maganda sa highway parang malakas siya sa consumo at maingay makina, kailangan mo i push kaya siguro lumalakas consumo, built for the city lang talaga mga small engined cars.
More on highway ako kaya naiicip ko mag lancer 1.6 at iba talaga peace of mind mo pag medyo malaki dala mo sa highway vs compact car

I have a vios as well and ramdam ko pinagkaiba. Mas matipid ung small engine sa city. Pero iba na pag hiway.
