Salary-wise, it's about 20-25% lower...but the commute is a lot shorter...workload also substantially lighter. My initial plan was to utilize the extra time to make up for the lower salary(further studies, sideline, setting up a small business, etc.)...kumbaga, utilize the extra time to make up for the lower pay. But that depends a lot on my own time management, discipline, etc.

Nagkaron ng complications with the hiring process, so right now i'm thinking if i should stick it out or throw the whole plan out of the window. Outlook isn't that bleak naman either way, but it's just gnawing at me right now.

To add, kilala ko yung (would-be) boss ko dun sa job A, which is one of the reasons why i considered it. Office politics...hindi naman mawawala, but i expect there'll be less daggers on my back coming from within the department.

Less time spent on commuting, and preferably flexible time heheh. Double shifts are okay as long as you're learning something from it and its not routinary work, IMO. Mostly applicable in IT related jobs doc

Yeah, basically time saved from commuting. Mainly support role, 9 to 5, day/night shift, although me flex naman sa work sked kung papayagan ng boss. Granted it won't be as cutting edge and/or exciting as 24x7 outfits, there still opportunity to learn, be it on the job or pursuing post-grad studies/certifications.

But, yeah, I deserve a room upgrade (suite) for free...+ free lunch for 2.
