For city driving, Wigo is running fine. But for highway, it isn't as smooth as a normal sedan. Plus, imagine being pitted with two buses or big trucks [emoji27][emoji24]
No offense to the Wigo owners.

Does a car's warranty really turn void if it's mileage is too low?
I've read it on my warranty card that it becomes void if the mileage is either too high or too low. However, it wasn't specified how low is too low.
Tapatalked
^ it doesn't become void automatically. AFAIK, the owner is required to observe service schedules as if the car was subject to extreme use. If he doesn't, that can possibly void the car manufacturer's warranty.

When will Cathy (or the average Tsikoteer) say, "I want a locally fabricated car"?
Why aren't Sarao, FMC and other local vehicle manufacturers making cars that will make the typical Tsikoteer want to purchase one?
Maybe the local manufacturers put too much emphasis on "ultility" and not enough on "fun" or "image."
You're probably looking at another 20 years or so before pinoys get the tech transfer to produce its own car. There's simply not enough incentive for local businesses to do it. Besides, if say, one were to come out with a purely Filipino designed and engineered car, would you buy it over a Toyota if it were in the same price range?

I would be the happiest if I had a BF who LOVES driving and road trips! I don't expect my BF to pick me up and bring me home from work (like some do) But I don't wanna hear complaints when going somewhere. 90% of the guys I know tamad mag drive. I dream of going to Vigan but none of the boys (or girls) wanted to drive or bring their car![]()
that is correct... not enough govt support (too much corruption)... if toyota wasn't generous they pulled-out their manufacturing in the Philippines and move it to Thailand/china where it is more economical just like others did...
well whats an average joe can do to fight back corruption? none, a single bullet can silence you forever... good thing there is now a 8888 hotline which takes forever for someone to pickup the phone...
long drive... what a fun and relaxing thing to do! away from the traffic and noise of metro manila... i missed 3 weekends of pyrofest 5 at sm clark because all the person i invited says its too far! in my mind no it isn't, you haven't been to the USA, china, thailand, vietnam, cambodia where driving is literally far due to the vast amount of land they have compared here, i guess the bad traffic situation made people don't want to go far places anymore despite having cars, no wonder we are compounding all in metro manila and would not want to expand...
my biggest dream in the Philippines, having a fuel efficient car with cruise control, perfect for a relaxing highway driving to further stretch fuel range and reach farther places...
in my case its the opposite. i like to go on long drives but its the wife that don't like. December last year, we went on road trip to the north till pagudpod and stayed for 2 days at hannah's resort. original plan after pagudpod was to make ikot the far north till Aparri and visit the farthest point sa Sta. Ana Cagayan then back to Pangasinan kaso umayaw na si wifey. this coming December, i'm thinking of finally going to that place but Banawe na lang daw mas malapit. masarap kaya yung long drive tapos kung saan abutin ng end of day dun mag-stay, then the following day biyahe na naman. the kids like the idea but the missus disagree. pasahero na nga lang, naiinip pa...
btw, after my north trip isusunod ko naman south...
Guys like you are a rarity.
It's easy to like a guy who has a sense of adventure. Just wanting to drive in this country says a lot already (masipag at positive attitude). Majority of my guy friends Makati to BGC puro reklamo na (traffic and parking). Hahaha.
