Unfortunately, the death penalty has already been abolished by Congress, so the most he can get is life in prison without the possibility of parole.

i know the girl who was killed. she's the friend of my cousin's and she was with my sister before she was killed. they went for a vacation. she used to spend summer with our family here in the province.

i really hate the person who killed katie. she didn't have anything to do with what happened and he kills her. i just hope he rots in jail. i cannot comment on the guy katie was with because he was asking for trouble when he shouted at the guy and kicked the car. what i really can't accept is that why did he have to kill her?

stay away from people like that lawyer. always keep cool. especially those who are in manila. there are a lot of people there whose heads are full of air!
i just hope justice for katie and i really hope the contacts, the killer's position as city legal officer of pasig and relatives of the killer wont help taint the case against him so that he can elude justice.

The girl works in an IT firm in Singapore. She just took a short vacation leave to make a surprise visit to her dad. The guy who is her friend , Canizares used to be her boss when she was still employed in the Philippines. She just asked him for a favor to pick her up from the airport as her trip was unannounced and wanted to give her dad a good surprise. They were actually on the way to the girl's home from the airport when that unfortunate incident happened.

Hindi ko naman ginagawa eto but minsan talaga mawawalan ka ng pasensiya dahil ang DAMING undisciplined and hindi courteous na driver dito sa atin. Sobrang nakaka frustrate. Malungkot talaga coz' what's happening in the street paints a picture of what's happening in our country

Many of us don't follow the rule of law and alot of us are undisciplined. Eto simula ng road rage. Hindi naman lahat but many & alot. Ang paniwala ko naman, each one can contribute to solve this problem. Ganda nung narinig ko sa radio nung isang araw (sa a.m pa ha), pag mas mahaba daw yung trafik, mas habaan ang pasensiya.
