I came across these articles and I think most of you will be furious especially our OFW brethren.

Ang yabang talaga kung umasta ng Malu Fernandez na ito na napakataas ng tingin niya sa sarili niya. Ni hindi niya kaya bumili ng business class ticket mabaho daw ang mga katabi niyang OFW people.

Siya nga yung mukhang mabaho ang taba taba mukhang baboy masmabango pa nga ang baboy sa kanya. Kahit isang baldeng jo malone ang ilagay niya sa katawan niya wa effect. hehe

This is the first paragraph on her column in Manila Standard:

"As all of you know I have just returned from a wonderful holiday in the Mediterranean. To cut on some costs for this impromptu vacation I was forced to fly economy class which I absolutely do not wish on my worst enemy. I was, however, encouraged by my travel agent to try out Emirates since it won the best economy class, so with great trepidation I flew on Emirates via Dubai, completely forgetting that Dubai is the hub for all the Filipino migrant workers. Call me whatever you like but when you are trapped in economy class that is filled to the brim with migrant workers the smell gets a little funky after nine hours of flying."

Yabang naman ng "piggy pugad baboy" na yan! Sa taba niyang yun, buti nagkasya siya sa economy section.

nag fefeel talaga tong malu fernandez, she should stop writing and start exercising. ang yabang kala mo kung sino. kung sasabihin nyang mabaho dapat d nya inemphasis na OFWs.

I'm not sure if I can blame her or not. My wife wouldn't come near me either if I hadn't used deodorant/brushed my teeth or if I let lose a juicy one in the car. Of course if I was the columnist, I wouldn't write about it.

"Just recently, I wrote a funny article in my magazine column and my friends thought it was hilarious. It was humorous and quite tongue-in-cheek, or at least I thought so, until the magazine got a few e-mails from people who didn’t get the meaning of my acerbic wit. The bottom line was just that I had offended the reader’s socioeconomic background. If any of these people actually read anything thicker then a magazine they would find it very funny. Most people don’t get the fact that they need bitches like me to shake up their world, otherwise their lives would be boring and mediocre. I obviously write for the a certain target audience and if what I write offends you, just stop reading."


Tindi, she just doesn't get it. Well anyway she's right, she writes for the Mani la Sub-Standard, kaya nga her target audience is the dwindling number of readers, siguro most of these are her jet-setting amigas anyway. Most of us stopped reading a long time ago
