Pre-seal your condo's perimeter wall surfaces prior to wall paper app. Though moisture introduced from the backside will harm both paint & wall paper, effects on the latter will show quicker.

For my bedroom, I only have one side with cabinets, the other side naman with shelf and dresser. The rest are pretty bare walls.

Paint is cheaper and I'm not applying textures naman so it should be more cost effective than wallpaper?

It says online that the paint will have to be reapplied every few years while wallpaper is more permanent, but haven't really needed any of our walls repainted at home.
