    I have my ceramic tiles replaced more than 5yrs ago and I noticed that there are at least 3 tiles popping up. Can this be repaired or I need to replaced the tiles?

    the popped tiles can be re-used, naman. get a good tile-r. he has to pick away the remaining cement and make it deeper, then apply new cement.
    bad trip if the popped tiles are damaged and you can not find replacement tiles of the correct size, let alone the right color and design...

    Yes thats the problem with tiles you cannot get exact same color after many years they will produce new one with different shade I should have bought at least 5 or 6 spare tiles before.

    I first noticed the bubbles and moisture after about a year. But this is Boysen Virtuoso over Boysen Flat Wall. This time I'm using a waterproofing paint. Well let's see, it's the best option for now.

    Hassle lang, all that dust stripping the paint with sandpaper.

    I did the exact opposite, I bought tiles almost exactly as needed because in my experience, I never needed all the spare tiles I bought, and it was a painful sight because we had nowhere to hide it. It's still there until we sold the house.

    Ah good for you! I work for a Italian
    tile company & we suggest to keep a few on stock. Some clients kasi come back after a few years asking for the same tile when they have repairs. No problem if we have it on stock. Otherwise we have to order it pa from our supplier which would take months. Sometimes they phase out some series of tiles pa.

    Tingin ko din kasi maselan magpalit ng damage tile portions, so baka mas mabuti pa patungan mo na lang ng bago, although this is applicable only for people like me who have small houses. Kung Italian tiles ang gamit, sigurado mansion yan.

    I was told yung tiles daw sa Rockwell/Powerplant mall were imported from Italy daw!

    Some of it were ours. Select SM Malls would have certain portions of their dept used out tiles din. The whole floors of Vertis Mall were ours.

    Malls need to get high end flooring because of the high wear and tear from foot traffic.

    Ayala Malls use natural stones such as granite but they import cheaper tiles for their real estate.

    Rockwell spends for their flooring, even the parking lot is epoxy coated which is why its noisy.

    Which mall's flooring looks cheap? Most of the NCR ones are pretty decent. It could just be really old and poorly maintained flooring like Makati Cinema Square

    There is a grocery in Alabang where the floor is never straight and there is always someone repairing something

    How I see it as a common person (non architect or engineer or interior designer)

    Rockwell, Greenbelt and Serendra expensive
    Uptown, Glorietta and Aura ordinary
    Market Market (inside) and SM cheap

    BTW I like Evia, it looks like an Ayala mall (which is a compliment)

    May I ask some advice from you guys about lot acquisition. I'm eyeing to buy a piece of land (900sqm) for future use.

    When I did an ocular, it's currently filled with sugarcane and grasses. The lot seems OK, until I checked Google maps.

    The yellow box in the pictures is the said lot, what I'm curious about are the red arrows, do you think it is a small creek or waterway?
