An aunt told us that the first pee of the morning is very good fertilizer. Siguro once a week lang, the accumulated salt could be harmful.

From what I heard, Kaya sinabi lang yan dahil most churches or chapel in provinces meron yatang Papaya trees sa likod. So na nadikit na sa pari Since they are supposed to be celibate. That's where it started yata.

I was in HS when my first love told me he eats papaya to kill libido. hahaha. He believed it and I did too. I wonder if it has any scientific basis at all? Opposite ng aphrodisiac.

Papaya namin sa bahay puro bubot. Pero yung all around namin nagtanim ng eggplant and okra. My Mom says it tastes so much better than store bought.

my mom's bongabilyas stood out from the others in our street.
she collected our urines and poured them on the poor plants.

It doesn't cure dengue per se -- it boosts platelet count when it drops due to dengue:

Never ko pa nata try, but i'd like to keep some close by just in case.

In my limited experience, hindi rin maganda iapply daily especially for young plants

Pwede rin pala Papaya. I thought Tawa-Tawa lang ang local remedy for Dengue.

Di ko pa natry papaya, but yung tawa tawa... circumstantial evidence suggests it is effective.

Naospital pamangkin ko recently, later found out na dengue nga. Not sure kung mild case lang sa kanya, but her platelet count rose dramatically after a few glasses of tawa tawa.

Bear in mind though, both papaya extract and tawa tawa can be harmful in high doses... so alalay lang.

Not sure how to plant tawa tawa... we tried in pots pero di nagtagal.. kaya i chose to plant papaya instead

Papaya and Tawa-tawa leaves can increase platelet count but they don't cure nor contribute to curing of dengue ... it misleads one to think that the patient is getting better because of the increase in platelet count ...

you can't cure dengue since it's viral... you can only treat the symptoms. Sabi nga ng doktor, tubig and paracetamol lang talaga.

But here's the thing: if your platelets go way down, you may need transfusion, or baka di na maagapan. Yung ang kelangan bantayan while the infection runs its course.
