    Re: Papaya.

Nabigla sa tubig yan. Papaya is a summer plant/tree. Pag na-ipunan na tubig ang base ng tree or yung mga ugat, madaling mamatay yan.

Yan din ang magiging problem ko later-on. Hopefully hindi naman sana, as we have planted our papaya trees on raised earthen rows.

I have 300 "baby" papaya trees now with stems the size of a ballpen. Timing ang fruiting stage nito for summer next year.

i mean, how big will the plants get.
I eat papaya daily because my friend said this is what priests take to supress lust.

Why is it malas in front of the house? I only know thorny plants are malas.

Because when one picks the fruits, there is sap dripping out of the newly picked stem. That resembles "tears" daw as the elders would say. So if its planted in front of a house, it resembles sorrow daw for that household.

In reality though, papaya sap is used as a main ingredient to make papaya soap.

The ramgo urea fertilizer i have been regularly applying on our patch of greenery seems to be doing wonders to our lawn. The wet weather and the fertilizer are combining to fatten our frog grass even though the dogs' still poo occasionally on them .😊

Hopefully the lawn will accumulate enough resistance to withstand next year's expected simmering summer heat
