Yup, sa first job ko it was like that, they don't just look at the college, they also look at the HS for fresh grads. Some time in the mid 2000s they relaxed the policy, now they hire from all schools already.

I don't know if there are still companies that hire only from the Big 3? FMCGs kaya? I know they are very selective of their employees. Ayala Land din ata.
