Just last night while plying the roads of araneta. Napansin namin closed na Dun sa may e.rod crossing. Ginawang swimming pool ng mga squatters haha pero malalim talaga so we decided to take banawe. Nung pauwi na ako baka nanaman sa araneta. Montik na ako mapabalik kasi yun ibang kotse ay bumabalik na at nagcounterflow. Buti hindi pa umapaw yun creek. So i decided to cross the flood waters. Ok lang naman mga 1 foot lang yun water. Pero sa kabilang side malalim. (frontier pickup)

Dati nilusong namin gsr pumasok yun tubig sa loob haha pero hanggang sa floor lang naman yun tubig.

Cruising along edsa, flyover from q.c. to go to mandaluyong, may part dun na malalim yun lubog ng flyover. Hindi ko napansin pero mabilis takbo ko. I was using our old pajero ng bigla parang bumangga ako sa water. Grabe lahat ng tubig napunta sa windshield at wala ako nakita kaya todo panic ako haha buti nalang wala ako kasunod sa likod

Got two phone calls yesterday from officemates telling me about the rains and flood and warning me not to pass through EDSA. Nasa Festival Mall ako at the time, where it was dry as powder. Medyo naalarma tuloy ako, since lubog na nga daw ang EDSA sa tubig, mga 6:30 pm 'to. Biyahe namin sa SSH pabalik ng Manila, umambon lang ng konti, but I braced myself for floods. Took the Skyway and got off at the Magallanes exit. Except for wet roads and heavy but moving traffic along Makati, everything was fine. By 8:30pm, nasa Guadalupe na kami. At this time, I go, "Anak ng tokwa, akala ko ba may baha?!".

My car was damage last night by th floods... we did not notice the drainage inside our village leading to the creek was "barado" by a tree left by the maintinace crew... so water stayed on the road and rose above my knees where I was parked... the damage was water went inside the car, trunk and engine bay. my car actually went up the curb when some guy in an expedition crossed the flood... then ang bad trip was a lot of cars attempted to cross the floods, in the end 3 cars got stuck... a Toyota High ace grandia, a Ford explorer sportract, then a an owner type jeep... what was kakainis was we told them not to cross any more...

Katipunan ave was also underwater yesterday.

Tama yan, sunod ka sa nauna sa iyo, but not too close, in case tumirik yung sa harap mo. Also, pag gabi na, kung medyo matataas na ang tubig, start looking for hotels or motels that are situated in high places along your route, para pag medyo alanganin na, magcheck in ka na kaysa lumubog yung kotse mo.

In a way yes......kung splashes and dust lang........but its a different story pag submerged na. Even hubs and diffs which are supposed to be sealed can easily be penetrated by water when submerged for a long period of time.

My wife lives near Espana where flooding is common during rainny season. Kaya i have no choice but to live with it. Ang sarap ng feeling kapag baha sa kanila kasi i have time to play with my Hilux. The deepest i got with my hilux was bumper deep lifted pa ang hilux ko. I also noticed my warning lights lighting up on my dash whenever i cross deep portions of the flood. It goes off after crossing the flood.
