    if she's an OFW, she has a limited contract. So she cannot stay in the US indefinitely.

    You will only be taxed here from your earnings abroad if you are a Resident Citizen. Non-Resident Citizen naman ata yang si Pinay Nurse, tagal na nya dun eh.

    And yan, Estate Tax yan sa US.

    OFWs income derived outside the country are tax free.
    Panahon yata ni tabako nung ibinaba itong BIR directive na ito.
    Bale OWWA membership, philhealth at pag-ibig lang ang mandatory na binabayaran plus yung OEC.

    imo, pag inheritance ay ibang usapan yan. Kahit yata patay na ay hahabulin pa rin ng bir para singilin ng tax. Mas lalo na yan $$$ na ang usapan!

    With $60M assets, the US will give you a green card pronto.

    The OFW can kiss the Philippines goodbye if she wants to.

    I read about this some weeks back and it seems she's really based in the US already (for good). Unless her kamag-anak in the P.I. read about it and suddenly "invite"her back home. :D
