My dad reported no noticeable difference in consumption and performance between Nitro+ 95 and Phoenix Premium 98. Looks like optimized na ang 2.0 for 95 octane.

August 27th, 2013 12:32 PM #2I'm curious, is 91 RON fuel alright for CX-5? I noticed most online reviews use regular gasoline on the CX-5...

yup, no problem using 91 RON. tried it for a few liters, wala naman akong naramdaman iba sa engine.
but im still using XCS, feeling ko kasi mas malinis hehehe
======
first time i drove the car going to subic, sarap idrive ng CX5, ang layo sa SF namin.
fastest i made was 160 kmh pero super stable parin, hindi nga naramdaman ng pasahero eh. nun tumingin lang sa speedometer ang sabi "HOY" hahaha!

August 27th, 2013 01:39 PM #4Am also using petron XCS, I haven't drove much my unit since acquiring it last Aug 6, my first pms is due 2 weeks from now and my odometer only reads 225km to date. Hinataw ko one time in Mcarthur Hwy San Fernando minus wifey, kaya no problem, ang bilis talaga ng pickup. Darating na order ko bukas ng 3m clear film protection para sa headlamp, para ok na ihataw ulit with no worries. Unsure yet regarding my fc since 1/4 palang naubos sa first full tank pero way much better sa nissan exalta gamit namin mostly for now until gumanda ulit panahon, in the meantime garage queen muna.

August 27th, 2013 08:10 PM #6c_cube, I'm curious, are you referring to the current Santa Fe? How different is the ride between the 2? How about power delivery and other aspects? I'm also cross shopping with the Santa Fe kasi. Thanks!

Im not sure for the current gen..
but based on what i read here and online, there is a big improvement in the suspension.
ang ayaw ko lang sa korean cars mabilis kumalapag ang suspesion. im basing this from our 2nd gen SF and GS

Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
