Sir pa-confirm if you have the terminal shown in this pic. It's the white plastic thingy sa taas:

Finally got my mudguards & pedal from Bossing ParakitoJDM today and had the chance to meet as well ThePrince(DPrince?) unsure if ganito nga ang call sign sa Banawe. Upgraded na rin ng Bosch Europa Silver ang horn.

    Hello all,
For those who had their pedals changed to the aluminum with CX5 logo on it, ask ko lang did you remove ba un rubber/plastic nung brake n accellerator pad before you made the drilling or you drilled na rin un padding then ipinatong lang un aluminum? Tenks in advance...

Had mine removed before drilling. Tinabi ko na sya in case the sports pedal wore down in the future para maibalik

Kumusta naman ang grip with the sports pedals? Medyo madulas kasi ang rubber pedals lalo na kung basa ang sapatos tapos hard rubber din ang sole.

Just picked up my CX-5 AWD this week and very happy to drive it...

I'm curious, has anyone actually got the Mazda high beam control system (HBC) to work? I've set it up and already checked that the front tint is not covering the sensor. But so far, driving in dark quiet streets of a subdivision didn't automatically turn the high beams on.

Also, anyone changed their horns already? What are good choices? Did you get the dealer to do it?

    Congrats!

Actually i disabled the HBC feature of CX5. I prefer to have control with the High Beam, so i never had a chance to test it.

AFAIK, if a car is infront of you, it will not automatically change to high beam. Also you also need to activate it by putting the stalk switch in high beam position then you will notice the indicator will light.

Yes, that's what I exactly did and read the manual carefully to test if it actually works but so far unsuccessful.

I'm thinking it might only work in a scenario like say, Tagaytay Sta Road late at night.

Btw, what do you think of our stock horn? :P

Ya, I didn't try the horn during the test drive and only found out after I got the unit hehe. I even thought it was defective until I tried another unit in the dealer.

I wonder if it's easy to install an aftermarket horn. Saw this video comparing the horn of the new 6 and CX-5... and CX-5 sounds like a toy trumpet

c_cube, by the way, does your lane departure feature work? I've turned on mine but the dash icon is always on amber light. I think it uses the same sensor as the HBC so I wonder if mine is active.

Also, just found out that our CX-5 have 8 parking sensors and the Mazda sales guy mistakenly took the 2 front parking sensors as the lane departure sensor. It's nice to have factory installed full parking sensors + rear view camera as they used to be available only in more expensive cars.

Another thing, does your car auto lock when you speed up? Seems like I need to manually lock the car whenever I start driving.

I actually have the same question sana, it seems nga parang hindi automatically naga-activate un highbeam although wala nman sasakyan sa harap. I tested it in our place though hindi naman totally dark sa place dahil sa mga street light pero wala rin. I'll ask nalang un dealer on my first pms. Also tested un lane departure warning sa nlex, intentionally nga nakagitna na sa white lines pero wala rin warning beep (turn signal is not click). I had bosch europa silver (India) installed on mine just like the other owners, sa banawe ko nabili and was charged 2.8k with installation na rin. Haven't installed the mudguards, nagtanong ako sa dealer and they're charging me 1,050.00 sabi ko next time na lang.

Lane departure by default is always ON once you start the engine. Amber light means Off. i myself dont get any warnings when i intentionally wants to steer the car out of lane.

No speed sensing door locks. i asked mazda makati for this pero wala daw talaga. i dont know for other casas if they have an idea.

So far i have only tested the auto rain sensing wipers and RVM

pinacheck ko sa Mazda Pasig dati, wala talaga makita sa computer. Need pa ng third party alarm module para magkaroon ng speed sensing locks.

auto-lowbeam yata ang HBCS mga sir.. correct me if im wrong.

try nyo manually switch to high beam then ilawan nyo yung sensor/camera para automatically mag low beam.

you cant put it on highbeam pag naka on ang HBC. malalagay mo lang sa high beam pag "flashing" o passing yata tawag dito.
