As per this noon time, options are only AT or MT.
A little bit over 7 km/L. That's about right for a 2-liter SUV in city driving. Don't feel too bad, that's still better than a lot of other 2-liter SUVs, such as the gen2 CR-V and current Tucson.
You could try pushing it closer to 8 km/L with conscious economical driving, but that's about as far as you can go. Any higher than that and it'll most probably be due to lighter traffic than your car's inherent efficiency.
im getting 9.7-10.4 Km/L (or 9.6-10.4 L/100Km) FC with almost 3 weeks use for the MT on mixed city/highway driving.
Hey, feedback from owners... anyone do long highway trips yet?
Will only have the CX5 for two days, and so far, signs are good. On my ultra-short moderate traffic school trip, economy is around 7-8 km/l with the CX5 MT. That's actually similar to modern 1.3 ATs and 1.6 MTs. on the same route. Highway economy looks like it could break 20 km/l on the right day with no traffic. I'm itching to find out if it's possible, but I won't have it over a weekend to test.![]()
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
I think that's possible because i got an average FC of 17.5km/L when we get back here in Pangasinan from Marikina. That was last Sunday. Got it fueled full tank (that's 56 liters) from our place in Marikina with Petron Blaze. Load at the trunk is around 90 kilos with my wife as the only passenger. From Marikina to Mindanao Avenue the traffic is light and average speed is 60kph. At NLEX/SCETEX, my average speed is 110kph, that's due to heavy rain at some area of the expressway. My fuel gauge upon arrival here in Pangasinan is 3/4 full. The distance travelled is 245km from Marikina to Pangasinan. So, if you do the math and assuming that I consumed 14 liters for the distance travelled of 245km, that's 17.5km/L. Very nice FC considering I only get an average of 12km/L from my previous ASX. Not bad
Parehas ba ung crystal white ng CX5 with that of CX7? Kung parehas sila advice ko lng na wag kayo papaayos sa Mazda Makati if ever na may paint job kayo.
I had my cx5 service *mazdamakati, habang nag aantay ako sa customer lounge nakapatay siguro ko ng 30 na lamok in the span of 1 1/2 hour, nung matapos yung 1k PMS, pagsakay ko sa auto grabe, colony of mosquito yung loob. Parang ayoko na tuloy magpaservice dun. Shinare ko lang.........
tama at at least hindi nilalangaw yan Mazda CX5

eto kasing thread parang walang updates, walang bumibili?
let's just say di kasing dami tulad ng CRV....
kailangan two things for it to sell better.
** reduce price: dba lumakas naman peso lately? by around 150K or more....
** improve feature content: dagdag i-Stop, Leather seating, bi-xenon HID lights..
(make 19" wheel/tire combo optional)....
Haha sorry! My average FC now is 7.62 km/l pure city driving. Sorry for the confusion. 2,952km total.
If Honda has one thing going for its bare CR-V, it's that the car always has a sense of spaciousness to it, from gen 1 to gen 4. The Tucson and especially the Sportage (with its sloping roof) feel claustrophobic compared to the CR-V.
