December 17th, 2013 11:51 PM #1331Hello guys, coming from pampanga, I'm dropping by Araneta Accessories to get my LED Door scuff installed that I got from sir parakito. So from G. Araneta what's the best route going to the US Embassy in Roxas? Travelling there on friday....tenks in advance.

December 18th, 2013 07:45 PM #1333I guess it's not my day today. I had the LED Door Scuff I got from sir parakito installed today on my CX5 2.5 sa Araneta Car Accessories since pang lima na yun akin na nainstalled ng same accessory, everything works fine the LEDs are lit up pagbukas ng pinto. Pag-alis ko, I noticed that my AFS started flashing and the manual says that there is a malfunction and it needs dealer attention. The AFS nga pala ay yung pag turn mo ng steering sabay din ang turn ng headlight sa direction ng steer. I went back to Jeff and he said just have the dealer reset my ECU(CPU). Called my dealer afterwards and it will cost me 1.2k
I said it's not my day, coz when I turned left in Magsaysay I didn't noticed the road sign merging left and went straight...huli ako ni MMDA and it cost me an additional 200 pamasko daw.

December 19th, 2013 04:30 PM #1340I wish nga sana pindot lang, but the AFS button is for turning it off only and it shouldn't be flashing. Flashing indicates malfunction already. Anyway, took the car this morning sa casa, they scanned the whole system and everything pass except the AFS and the verdict is that the AFS module got messed up when they (Araneta Car Accessories) tapped the door wiring. The dealer said that the car's CPU is sensitive that it will detect any change in voltage. I ask them if kung sila ba nag-install ok na sana, they said they wont install any aftermarket stuff unless it's OEM. Though, I'm not blaming anyone, but warning to all CX5 2.5 owners, don't mess with your car's electronic system otherwise you're gonna end up like me who took that risk and it's not under warranty. It will cost me by the way 22.5k for the AFS module
...that would have been a nice portable gps and nexus 7 I've been wanting to buy.
