    Hi guys,

Just to give you an update. I went to Mazda-Pasig yesterday and fill-up the application form. I received a call around 6pm today from my SA, her name is Cecille btw, that my loan was approved by BPI. I didn't even got a call from the bank for questioning. Cecille told me to pay the 50% tom by MC then I might get the unit on thursday. As of now good service from Cecille.

Just got my CX5 pro, wala daw stock nung AWD eh. Still got a very nice deal.

Sir ano daw procedures and guidelines sa pagbbreak-in? Speed limit, rpm limit, etc....?

Papalitan daw ba ng oil after the break-in period?

    Hi sir,

I din't mind asking them about the break in procedure, may sarili na kasi akong method w/c is drive it hard as I can. I'll have to bring it back at 1000km for change oil ata. Shell fully synthetic ang gagamitin nila, yun nga lang hindi pa ata CI-4 yun eh...

Oh god, drive hard? Hindi pa masyadong nakaseat in and seal in ang mga piston rings nun sir.,kya harmful sa engine yung drive hard dahil may stress effect yun sa cylinders...just my worry lang sir.

You can search the web for break in procedures and the reason kung bakit kailangan yun...

Lahat ng kotse namin, banat agad pagkalabas ng casa. No problems whatsoever.

Babying your car during break-in period is a very old-school thing to do nowadays.

Mazda has car carriers. But yeah you should see how they drive the factory fresh cars on and off the car carrying ships. They have to load everything on a tight schedule so tire squealing and no warmups are normal.

IIRC our CX5 had 120kms on the clock already when we got it. Galing Manila pa kasi ang unit then shipped to the CDO casa.

Usually kasi bata lang ang pwede tumagal sa third row and malamang wala ka nang trunk space when the seats are used. Haven't seen it in the flesh though so I could be wrong.

CVT sya so matipid ng onti. It's not as exciting to drive daw compared to the CX5 sabi ng US review.

    Yung 360 camera ang interesting

    Naku sir,

Kahit yung mga ka-work kong mga europeans hindi nila alam yung word na "break-in." Ang alam lang nila ay magdrive ng mag drive.

Badtrip today umuulan, no driving muna mababasa si CX5...hEhEhE

    Hi sir,

CX5 at Forester turbo ang pinagpipilian ko noon. Kaso nga lang dahil hindi pa proven and reliability ng CVT (in general) na turn-off ako sa Subaru. I usually keep my vehicles more than 5 years kaya importang sa akin yung reliability ng engine at tranny. Plusyung deal ng Pro na 50% dp and 0% in 3 years made me chose the CX5. I'm planning to use the money din kasi for other purposes.

After a day of city driving masasabi kong matipid itong CX5, it's just a gut feeling for now. Tidnan ko in the coming days. Smooth din naman yung shifting ng 6AT niya, so kung icocompare sa CVT I would assume na hindi nagkakalayo in terms of smooth shifting.

Sabi ng isang review for xtrail, it is amazingly effortless to seat in the 3rd row..so at least may dagdag seat pa for smaller adults when you need it.

kung gusto mo nman ng 5 seater, ifold lang ung 3rd row. Yung driving pleasure naman, less priority ko.mas priority ko overall cost and fuel consump..

hay naguluhan na naman ako though stronger pa rin nman ako for cx5.
