Mazda is too small a company to compete w/ the giants in volume made & sold, but it's among the few badges known to catch a good loyal following. I know not a few w/ multiple Mazdas parked in their stable..... Fun well-built & pleasing cars.

Haha, it has been done & proven. BUT, if guys w/ iStop really want reversible deactivation, 2nd to the simplest way above is adjusting the hood latch sensor to a position that sends "hood open" signal. iStop won't work if hood is open for maintenance.[emoji4]
