Me? Unless something on the stock is really bothersome or if it's out of practical necessity(ie damage replacement), I'd save the moolah for vital mods or matters. Been that road w/ a few regretful episodes in my juvenile years. Time has almost always proven the novelty of hobo non-OE replacements would wear off.
My mod approach has always been for reversibility & for the OEM+ look. If you must, from boredom or lust, keep your stock grille for that time when the itch to switch comes.
Again, just my 2cents....pardon my opinion, I'm eccentrically wired.[emoji4]

The center piece mat for the rear was a challenge to cut because there's no floor mat in the M3 that I can use as a guide. Luckily I have an old floor center rear mat from another car that was good enough to be used as a guide for cutting the nomad mat.

To ensure that the mats will fit nicely up to the edges of the floor, cut the nomad mat a bit bigger than the OEM floor mats then cut the excess for a perfect fit on the floor.
    Beautifully done, jojo sir![emoji106]

Mention not, sir. We all learn from all the sharing everywhere. That's the point of forums & communities.[emoji4]
Love the hobo nomad mats...they just go bald faster than the legit 3M. Have spares ready.[emoji16]

Wow! This looks great. Is it easy to maintain and clean? Does well against the rainy weather? Also, what do I look for. Hobo Floor Mat from Handyman?

So far I find it easy to clean. On a daily basis I would simply shake off the dust from the mat. On a monthly basis I would wash it with detergent soap.

Preventing water spilling over at the edges of the mat is something that this mat does not do well. My workaround during a rainy day is to just place a bundle of newspaper on top of the mat. The newspaper will act like a sponge, preventing the water from getting into the mat. Nowadays I use an old plastic floor mat from another car as a waterproof cover for the nomad mats. It's a workaround that I can tolerate during the rainy season.

There's no brand name for the nomad immitation mat unfortunately. You will have to ask for the prices of the mat. At the Handyman store I went to, there were 3 sellers for the mats, one from 3M and two selling the immitation type. For the immitations, one was offering it for 1800 for a 1.5x1.5 meter size whereas the other one is selling 1400 for the 5x4 feet size. There's a feeling of competition among the sellers. I was able to talk with the seller of the cheaper mat after the other seller went away.

You'll have to drop the rear part of your headliner by pulling the top weatherstrip off the boot, dropping the headliner clips & dislodging partially the 2 C-pillars if you don't want any perma-crease when you reach your hand between the roof & the liner to loosen the stubby antenna base nut & unplug the wire terminals. Find someone w/ Trump hands to do this. Small, better.
Pull the stubby base up, replace the fin, handtighten the nut securely, plug the fin harness & do everything in reverse order.
    Wish I had taken pics & created a visual how-to. Apologies, sir.[emoji17]

Thank you, Sir Travs! [emoji4] Funny coz one of the dealerships here in NCR have no experience installing the OE fin. [emoji6] I'll ask the other though. And if no one can install it, I'll DIY.

*Sir Travs, the fin have a rubber base, but to really prevent a leak, did you put a 3M double sided tape?

OE fin needs no 3M tape nor sealant, sir. It won't leak.[emoji4]

Did the same thing with my mats but entirely copied the OE mat.

    Anybody tried ordering this?

If I may add, before pulling the stubby base up you will need to locate these pins on both sides that lock the base in place. You need to push them using your thumb and index finger. This picture is the stock antenna of th 1.5HB but the OE sharkfin's is similar.

    Good day.
Hopefully someone could help me out here. Had my engine double checked again and they can't reciprocate the squealing sound during cold starts on my engine.. It particularly happens specially when I'm going downhill. (Also how do i embed a video here so at least I could have you see the video i made while I was driving and eliciting the noise). Could it be a brake issue? A pulley issue? TIA

A squealing sound on cold starts might mean a worn belt. Have those checked.

Could it have stemmed from the broken front engine support they replaced? It took them at least 7 months to have that replaced when I noticed the "tok" sounds previously. All the suspension issues had been resolved already and now I'm getting this issue.. The squeal can't be ellicited when stationary btw, only happens when in motion. Really suspecting the belts, tensioners or probably a pulley. sound emitted originates on the passenger side.
