    Yup, that's what it is for

    I just had my 1,000-km checkup, and the maintenance peeps reset my tripmeter!

    I realized it's because they set up the maintenance alert.

    Yeah, a wrench ill reset it later or maybe will just turn it off.

    Right, i just remembered it last night that during it's 1k km check it was set by the service person. Thanks Altuy

    icon on dash scares me so much, i and my 06 m3 before, we went through so much rough times with its high mileage. On daytime, late nights, at cavitex, in edsa gosh ive been once a cause of traffic.

    If you fear the dark, grab an OBD2 scanner, ma'am. I'm at home w/ the Scangauge2. It reads codes for the fix approach, clears the Check Engine Light, & functions as an extra gauge w/ a lot of info. Peace of mind is priceless.��

    Yes, the basic ocular & standard OBD check....I recall torque checking every under-belly bolt & nut. Not part of the standard PMS up the capital?
