Won't fit w/o some shoehorn modding. It can't even take the 3's header.[emoji852]....But the 1.5 is good fun on the 2, bai....much much more when OVT'd. Good thing Ph got the 4 disc option. Most got drums on their back.[emoji16]
    If you really want a 2.0 in a 2 chassis, the CX3 is that.[emoji4]

You’re right. Our version here actually have slightly lower power. The mazda2 in the video has 81kW (110hp) and 141Nm.

    Ours has 108hp and 139Nm.

They're actually the same, good brother (110 PS/81 kW/108 hp). Sky's hidden ponies are quite easy to unleash.[emoji2960] That + the 2's handling.

The ND MX5 was only designed for a 1.5 but the US big boss insisted on a 2.0. That's why they only got around to optimizing the 2.0 for the MX5 just recently.

They are now only selling a single variant of the CX-3, which is the ugly base model.

They should just remove the CX-3 from the lineup and replace it with the CX-30.

I think that's what they're ultimately aiming for. Hopefully next year they release the CX-30.

I've already experienced Mazda in my diesel CX-5. Yeah it's not just about numbers but the "jinba ittai". Yeah driving dynamics and interior ergonomics is also right for me. That's why for me it's not sporty but a notch above mainstream because of their pricing and refinements.

Uly has too much Mazda on his blog, most likely paid content. I understand he has to make a living but I sense the slow deterioration in objectivity (see BR-V issue with JD). His reviews are still okay.

There's no denying the 1.5L 3 is just underpowered and waaay overpriced. Subjectively feels faster is just sugar-coating it. Mazda should just stick with the 2.0 as the sole engine.

I agree with the US big boss. Why not slap the SkyActiv turbo on it? Hehehe

Maybe with our next purchase, we can consider a Mazda unless a better deal presents itself. The 6 SkyActiv turbo is the Mazda which sings to me but the new Accord 2.0 turbo is a pocket rocket of a family sedan.

The Mazda6 Turbo will also be available for test drive. I might just try that instead of the Mazda3 2.0L.

I want that extra oomph from the 6 so that I can compare later when I try the new Accord turbo.
