Exterior is beautiful. No doubt. The C pillar is not an issue in real life.
Opening the doors (front and rear), it felt a bit off. The door handle felt a bit cheap and thin, and the doors themselves lacked that solid feel. It felt a bit light and hollow.
I then inspected the interior. It LOOKED really premium and expensive. The leather looked smooth and it is in all the right places. I also like the black headliner. But upon touching the soft plastics, and rotary knobs, I was disappointed... the knob for the auto climate was loose while the other knobs for the volume and infotainment were normal but lacked that damped heavy feel. The buttons on the steering wheel felt strange especially the up and down volume, a bit spongy and goes around everywhere. The soft touch plastics are nowhere near as soft as the older and cheaper Focus I’m driving now.
These are nitpicks but with a substantial price increase, I was hoping for a more premium feel, not only looks. Kulang pa, but it is almost there.
